Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Customer Service I had purchased a Battery operated Leaf Blower 40V from Wal-Mart and at day 100 it went bad. We took it back to Wal Mart and they would not help us because it was passed the 90 day window. Frustrated and upset I came home and called the vendor www.greenworkstools.com and they first told me to calm down and that I had nothing to worry about. They said to pack up the bad leaf blower and they would send a UPS driver to pick it up in 5-7 days. The UPS guy showed up the next day helped us pack it and said we should have our new leaf blower in about a week. A week later UPS delivered a brand new leaf blower to our front door and I could not be happier. Greenworks Management please treat ALL of your employees like an ASSET and not a Cost Center because from the way they handled my situation, I am still in shock that everything happened as planned. Thank you Greenworks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good purchase My family bought this last summer and I am beyond satisfied. It is not a glorified hair dryer. It works better than the gas blower and it is an ease to use. No regrets here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I have had this blower for over a year. It is very powerful and the battery lasts longer than would be expected, given this high performance. Variable control speed and turbo settings work flawlessly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great, but... I bought this last June and have been using almost every week since. It is great at blowing leaves and picking them up, but I have had trouble with the bag that collects the leaves that I vacuum up. The zipper on the bag broke and I was able to fix it the first time, but now it has broken again and I'm not sure I can fix it. I am disappointed that the zipper isn't heavy duty enough. Where can I get another bag?

What is the primary difference between 40V 185MPH blower and 60V 145 MPH blower?

Asked by: Skippy
Hello skippy, The GreenWorks Pro 60v is an axial blower. This means the motor drives a fan that is oriented on the same axis as the airflow. This design allows a huge amount of air to be pulled into and pushed out of the unit in a very short period of time. While it has a comparatively low air speed (140MPH), this unit is designed to function only as a blower. When blowing leaves air speed is unimportant as 30mph will move a leaf as easily as 300mph. The important figure is CFM (cubic feet/minute) as the greater volume of air that can be moved the easier it will be to move large amounts of leaves. The 24322 is a blower/vac. Blower/vacs can be used as both blowers and vacuum/mulchers depending on which attachments is being used. This design uses a mechanism where a motor spins an impeller at 90 degrees to direction of airflow. The impeller uses centrifugal force to force the air through a tight space creating a large pressure change. This results in a superior air speed (in this case 185mph). While this unit is disadvantaged when compared to axial blowers in terms of CFM they have the advantage of providing the vacuum option. The greater air speed allows a greater suction force to be applied to leaves that are being vacuumed. This results in an extremely effective secondary function as vac/mulcher. I hope this has answered your question.

will the same battery work in your chain saw?  I Have one.

Asked by: verlcy
Hello there, The battery for the G-Max 40v will work in all the G-Max 40v units. The G-Max batteries cannot cross between different voltage platforms. It will not work in the GreenWorks 60v Pro, G-24 or GreenWorks 80v Pro unit. Each platform has its own set of interchangeable tools and batteries.

This is a great blower, but why does it have the complication of a high/low "turbo" switch when the variable speed control also gives low settings? A simple on/off switch and the variable speed control is all it needs.

Asked by: Graham
Hello Graham, Thank you for your feedback. The turbo function is required when the blower is being used on vacuum mode to mulch. When using the vacuum mode use the variable speed on the highest setting, then turn on the turbo button. This is stated in the manual: "NOTE: When mulching leaves the Blower/Vac must be in TURBO-MULCH mode." A performance difference will be noticed if this feature is not activated during mulching use. Please feel free to contact support at 1-888-909-6757, or email us at info@greenworkstools.com should you have further questions or concerns.

The suction on the vacuum leaves MUCH to be desired. One hour of work and less than 1/4 of the bag filled. Leaves get stuck after being shredded at the entrance to the bag. I keep having to undo the bag and clean the opening. Help.

Asked by: LindaC
Hello LindaC, When you are using the vacuum feature, ensure that you are running the unit on turbo mode. Turn on the Turbo-Mulch by pressing the "LOW/HIGH button, while the variable speed dial is set to 5. This information on page 7 of the user's manual. Here is a snippet from the manual on how to use the blower/vac for mulching: "OPERATING AS A MULCHER Hold the vac firmly, tilting the mulcher tubes (2-4 in. or 5-10 cm), and use a sweeping action to collect light debris. The debris will flow into the bag. Items such as small leaves and twigs will be mulched as they pass through the fan housing. For longer bag life and increased performance, empty the bag often." This information is located in your manual on page 9. When the turbo mode is used on high the average run time you will experience is up to 15 minutes. If you are still experiencing issues with this feature, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 or email us at info@greenworkstools.com for further assistance.
