Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Husband! I purchased this lawn mower for my husband for Father’s Day. We have a secondary garden that required him and I to carry our gas powered lawn mower up a lot of brick “slippery when wet” steps. Honestly, it was not a good idea. Since we were so impressed with our Greenworks snow thrower, I decided to surprise him with this lawn mower! It was simply perfect! It was easy for him by himself to carry up the steps and the 16 inch path was just right to cut between flower beds and bushes! The color was perfect and pleasing and my husband and I truly appreciate the functionality paired with a really great price!!! We LOVE Greenworks!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stronger than it looks! Since I already had a lawn care service, I only planned to use this mower a few times a year whenever heavy rains caused the grass to grow higher than usual. After two different lawn services left my back gate open, I decided to mow the backyard myself. This mower has been going strong for almost 5 years of heavy use! The blades have stood up to all types of abuse. I even used it 2-3 times a year to mulch small tree branches and shrub trimmings(not recommending anyone try this but it does work). If my dogs hadn't chewed up the power adapter/cabling to this mower, I would have kept it forever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight and easy to use! My wife and I live in a house with a small front yard but a decent size back yard. We bought the 16inch corded last season cause it was on sale at the time, as well as a cheap corded off brand weed eater. The weed eater didn't last very long, so we are in search of a replacement. The mower works great. It's easy to use. It's so lightweight so my wife has no problem using it. Despite it being only the 10amp version it doesn't bog down or shut off. We do wish we got a cordless one though for the ease of mobility and not having the setup time of running the extension cord.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dead after 2 uses in less than one year, no suppor I bought this mower in July 2018. I used it twice last year and pulled it out for work this year. It won’t start, and calling customer service is useless (no one picks up the phone). Keep away from this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun to Mow After years of reel and gas lawnmowers, I recently bought this greenworks corded electric. I love everything about it … multiple cutting heights, great maneuverability, and convenient mulching / grass catcher options. Bonus points for an easy peasy start-up, sleek race-car styling, and fun color. Who knew I’d enjoy mowing the lawn so much!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won’t start I bought the 26” 25142 corded lawn mower late 2018 so I didn’t use it till last summer. I have a small yard so it wasn’t used that many times. Mowed this year 2 weeks ago no problems went to mow today won’t start. I Checked fuses, cords, I pushed and held button then held the bar still won’t start. I have checked utube, websites can’t find any information to help me figure the problem out. I am hoping someone here might have had same problem to help me fix it or customer service will answer me.

I am putting my mower together my cam locks are stock and won't move how do i unlock them to move

Asked by: Sab1
Hello Sab1, We're sorry for your experience. First, remember to unscrew the knobs before attempting to unlock the cam locks. If the cam locks are stuck at the bottom you must squeeze the handles together to unlock the cam locks, you should be able to loosen it. What kind of battery pack would you recommend if I want to convert from corded to cordless?

Asked by: ManoaBrad
Hello ManoaBrad, That is not an option for this unit. It is a corded unit and requires an extension cord ( not included) for operation.

What gauge extension cord do I need to use, for 150'? We had one of these and we had to get a replacement. When your company replaced it, they told my Mom, we probably were using the wrong gauge extension cord. What gauge do I need for 150' or 200'?

Asked by: SteveM
Hello SteveM, Please refer to your owner's manual on page 14 under Operating your lawn mower. For a 150' (45 m) cord, use 12 AWG. A digital copy of the manual can be downloaded from this page.

I bought the 16" Electric Lawn Mower (Model 25142) in December, 2019. I opened the box this spring and set up the handle and grass catcher. I plugged it in and followed the instructions to start it, but it does not start running. Please advise.

Asked by: BELawnmower
Hello BELawnmower, We're sorry to hear about your experience. Please make sure you're using the correct size extension cord listed inside your owner's manual and make sure the cord is in good working condition. We recommend testing the cord with a similar size amp unit to eliminate that the start issue is due to the cord. If the cord is in good working condition then the issue may lie in the starting procedure. Please be advised the unit has a safety start up feature and will only start up in the follow sequence. Push and hold the safety button, while the safety button is being held down, lift up the bail switch. Once the unit starts up release the safety button and continue to hold onto the bail switch. Here's a video guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBLRDQiGX74 We hope this information has helped.
