Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value! This is the second time I have bought this mower in last 5 years. The first one is still working fine, gave it to our daughter. This mower has multiple height settings and cuts the grass in our yard very well. It has never failed to start( neither of the two). I like the 20" cutting width also. Only maintenance I have done is to have the blade sharpen and to clean the bottom of the mower of any grass that collects mainly if the grass is damp when cutting . No gas, oil changes, spark plugs to mess with. I will never go back to a gas mower. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Built, Steel Deck, Easy To Use Bought this mower ‘Renewed’ on Amazon. For most part, everything looks ok. Minor damage on bottom of the catch bag but I’m not worried. My main concern getting into a corded mower was to get a metal deck and this one is strong. All the pieces look and feel very solid, nothing seems cheap or skimpy. And I really like the one touch deck height adjustment. Having to do each wheel separately on my gas mower was a pain. I just completed my 3rd mow with this unit and have to say this mower rocks. I mulched the first two cuts, then bagged this last one. Plenty of power, metal blade can be filed, and the cut is clean. ** Be sure to use a good extension cord** Is the cord a hassle?? Not compared to yanking on gas types or rebuilding carbs. Just plan ahead and pay attention. There’s very little to go wrong with these and YouTube is full of troubleshooting videos. So far, I can say I’d buy this again easily. Shout out to Greenworks on a mower I hope to get years of use from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful and easy to start. Nice, light, easy to move around. One thing, I wish it would be self-propelled, but for this price and power of this little guy, it's fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent mower for my yard! I bought this mower back at the start of the 2021 cutting season. This is an excellent mower. It is light weight and easy to push. The does not bog down in my toughest grass. With a little common sense and thinking ahead, managing the cord is not a problem!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of power I was looking for a replacement for my 35 year old gas mower that was getting tired. I found this Greenworks 20 inch 12 Amp corded lawn mower at a very good price point. Using a corded electric mower is relatively easy when you mow progressively away from the point of plugging in the extension cord, I looked at the Extension cord requirements & opted to "UpSize" to 12/3 versus the minimum 14/3 called for in the user manual,This way I am assured of getting full power at the end of a 100 foot cord & if necessary I can extend out to 150 feet with the 12/3 cord specification. This 20 inch mower is very powerful compared to a gas engine mower and the sublime quietness of the electric motor is nice versus the ROAR of a gas engine, I was easily able to mow through 12 inch high grass by making 3/4 wide swaths through the tall grass & proceeding slowly which is easy in 90F heat. For my initial use of this mower I opted to use the side discharge chute because using the grass catcher would have required many empty-ings of the catcher due to the grass height. I really like the easy of setting the cutting height with 1 lever & at 3-3/4 inches it is the height I wanted in a lawn mower so that I do not scalp the lawn like I see professional mowers do, There is no greater joy than the feeling of using a well made New lawn mower after nursing my old gas engine unit for "just another mowing season". I like the pleasant Green color of this mower's deck & the large diameter wheels make mowing on uneven ground very easy. This mower has much to prove to me given its predecessor,

Why can't I use this mower on an incline? Book said not to mow up hill, why?

Asked by: Jrauser
Hello Jrauser, Slopes are a major factor related to slip and fall accidents that can result in severe injury. Operation on slopes requires extra caution. If you feel uneasy on a slope, do not mow it. For your safety, do not attempt to mow slopes greater than 15 degrees. When mowing always mow across the face of slopes, not up and down. Exercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes.

What amp cord should I buy for this product if I intend to use a 100-foot cord (Greenworks 12 Amp 20-Inch 3-in-1Electric Corded Lawn Mower, 25022)?

Asked by: Larry1408
Hello Larry1408, When using a power tool at a considerable distance from a power source, be sure to use an extension cord that has the capacity to handle the current the product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop-in line voltage, possibly resulting in overheating, loss of power, and/or damage to circuit breaker. This unit can use the following extension gauge and length, at 50' the gauge should be 16AWG; at 100' the gauge should be 14 AWG. Please make sure to use extension cords rated for outdoor use. More information on compatible extension cords can be found inside the owner's manual on page 9.
