Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this snow blower I bought this in November after Mo. had 4-5 snows. Only now having an opportunity to try it. Had 12 to 15in this weekend. Being realistic I went and did drive and back yard for pups as it was snowing. When it looked like there was about 4in I went to clear it again. Worked great throwing snow far enough to get it off my 2car drive . More than 24hrs of snow driveway clear. For what it is intended for it worked great. For how I expected it would worked was better than expected. Only bad was dealing with cord. So impressed going to get the 80volt system next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked Great I bought one this morning. Their were no instructions inside the box. I was able to assemble it but it took me a while to figure out the safety start. I used a 20 foot cord for as long as the cord would stretch than added another cord for the bottom of my driveway. I love this snow thrower and am glad I bought it. My driveway is shoveled & it took half the time and my arms won't ache from shoveling. I recommend this product

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wanted to love it Just bought from Lowe's and the major issue is being able to move it smoothly. Unless it's on a wooden deck or smooth concrete it hitches and stops moving with my asphalt walk . Tried to make sure that I was not leveraging front down but what a pain. It needs regular skids that are adjustable. Other than that it is ok for what it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what I needed it to do. My wife gave this model for Christmas, I have a 12x20 foot deck that I use it on. One storm we had 27 inches of snow and I couldn't get to it right away. Anyway the blower blew all the snow from the deck, I had to work it a little but it held up fine. I even do some paths around the house. I'll rate this product 5 stars. One problem I did have is fitting a three prong plug in the plug area, the collar around the prongs was egg shaped, but I heated it up and put a hose clamp around it to keep it's shape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked great but broke after 4 uses. I purchased this at Lowe's in Feb of 2017 to clean snow of my deck. The product worked great and I was very happy with it. I used it about 4 times. Stored in my garage. I used it once this year and when I went to use it a 2nd time it would not turn on. Very light use and it's only 11 months old. There is a dealer close by that is going to repair it under the 4 year warranty which is nice but I am disappointed in the quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 1 use Very bad product. I was excited about using the electric one since I don't like gas and battery powered is not powerful enough and expensive. Worked like a charm the 1st time. 2nd time, I did one pass. Ended up in the wet snow area. Stopped suddenly and now it does not start. Now, to fix it if I need to send it somewhere I need to pay for that myself.

What tool is needed to alleviate using a 100 ft extension cord for my snowblower?

Asked by: Deestar23
Hello Deestar23, If the unit requires an extension cord then an extension cord is needed to operate the unit. It does take time to get used to having a cord attach to your unit. We suggest keeping the electric cord as close to the outlet as you can and then snow throw away from the outlet, so the slack always stay on the side you are moving away from. Grabbing the cord and pulling it away from your body helps direct the cord away from the unit. There is also a cord hanger that can be used to clip on your extension cord to help keep the cord in place. Once you do this a few times you will be able to adjust and move the cord in the direction that best suits you and your operating style. However, no tool can be used to remove the cord. We do offer battery operated versions of this snow thrower.

Hi, this is where the confusion on you Q & A are at fault.. One of your reps said 16 gauge for 50ft and another one said 12 gauge for a 50Ft??. Now you are saying 14 gauge? I also looked in the manual to find it says 50ft with 12 Gauge. Then, I called you

Asked by: Lisae
Hello Lisae - Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As we are all human, errors do happen sometimes. We have edited the previous answers accordingly. We apologize if there was any confusion! As per the manual, this unit is compatible with extension cords that are for outdoor use. The length should be no longer than 50 ft at 12 AWG. If using a 25' cord or less, it can be 14 AWG.

I see a lot of discussion on what kind of extension cords to use. I just bought the 13 -Amp 20-in Corded Electric Snow Blower model# 2600202. Can you tell me exactly what extension cord/s I can buy so I do not damage it. What Gauge for 50ft cord?

Asked by: Lisae
Hello Lisae - Thank you for asking this question. For up to 50 ft you can use a 12 gauge cord, if the cord you are using is 25' or less you may use a 14 gauge cord. We hope this information has helped. We apologize for any confusion.

Regarding my previous question about the 100ft extension cord. I am finding that the 50ft cord is just a little too short. Why is a 100ft cord not recommended?  Can I use a 75ft 12 gauge extension cord?

Asked by: Maria65
Hello Maria65, We do not recommend the use of a longer cord because of voltage drop. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause overheating and lead to unit damage. For this unit, we recommend extension cords that are for outdoor use. The length should be no longer than 50 ft at 12 AWG.

Do you make a cover for this machine? (20" electric snow thrower - 2600292)

Asked by: Sylvest
Hello Sylvest, Thank you for your question. We do not offer covers for our units at this time. However, generic brands will work as a cover. We do not, however, advise storing our units outside. This unit requires storage in an enclosed areas such as a garage or shed.

What is the difference between this model and model#2606502? I purchased model#2606502. Could a 100ft 12gauge extension cord be used?

Asked by: Maria65
Hello Maria65 - The ultimate difference is that this model has LED headlights. Model 2606502 can be used with a 50' 12AWG extension cord but a 100' cord is not recommended.
