I have model 5107302VT. It will only run for about a minute and then shut off. It’s kind of like it’s over heating but I’m not sure why. Any ideas?

Asked by: JenaHepler
Hello JenaHelper, It sounds as though your nozzles may be clogged or there is some air trapped in the unit, these are common issues. With the following troubleshooting, this should be resolved! Please be sure to follow closely as these steps are not as effective when altered. 1) To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction. 2) Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit. 3) Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60PSI. 4) There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. I have a 1800psi Greenworks pressure washer with a wand that has a plastic clip that appears to be used to keep the trigger pulled. I can't see how it works. Is there a diagram of a manual that has pictures for my powerwasher?

Asked by: Bruce Edward
Hello there, The lock on the trigger is not to keep the trigger pulled. It is supposed to act as a lock that will sit behind the trigger to prevent it from being pulled. TO ENGAGE THE LOCK-OUT: - Push down on the lock-out until it clicks into the slot. TO DISENGAGE THE LOCK-OUT: - Push the lock-out up and into its original position.

How do I connect the Universal brush 2 the power washer

Asked by: Dummy
Hello Dummy, This product can be used with designated attachments that use a 1/4" quick connect fitting. You would attach these products the same way that a nozzle would be installed!
