How do you unclog soap dispenser?

Asked by: Paula a
Hello Paula a, First, we recommend cleaning the soap nozzle. Over time with use, the pressure washer nozzles may collect dust, dirt, and calcium build-up which as a result cause the pressure washer to malfunction while in use. To clean nozzles soak them in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and warm water for a minimum of 15 minutes. Then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. You can then remove the soap suction tube. It is a small plastic tube connecting to the pump and goes into the soap tank, rinse it out and ensure it is not clogged. Finally, you can fill tank soap tank with water and a touch of vinegar. Put the soap nozzle on and siphon this mixture through the unit. If issues persist, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).

My 1800psi 1.1 greenworks pressure washer just clicks when i turn on. Its getting power to it just clicks

Asked by: Tony66
Hello Tony66, We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your pressure washer. Here you will find some troubleshooting suggestions for you to try. Cleaning Obstructed Nozzles: To clean the nozzles, soak all your nozzles in a half and half mixture of warm water and white vinegar. Soak all the nozzles for about an hour and then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water. Your nozzles will now be free of any obstructions causing the unit to malfunction. Removing Air from The Line / Bleeding Out the Unit: Purge any excess air from the pump. Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. If it is running, reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit. Lastly, ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60PSI. There should be 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. If you have tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, please give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS).

Takes awhile to get full pressure. Fades in and out of pressure for a little bit when start up. I have made sure to run water so as no air in line.

Asked by: Barry 1219
Hello Barry 1219, There are a few factors that could cause these reactions such as excess air in the pump or a clogged/faulty nozzle. See all troubleshooting options below. Cleaning Obstructed Nozzles Over time with use, the pressure washer nozzles may collect dust, dirt, and calcium build-up which as a result cause the pressure washer to malfunction while in use. Purge Air from Pressure Washer Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit. At this stage, if the unit shuts off when a nozzle is installed be sure to try all nozzles. A faulty nozzle may cause the unit to shut down. Additional components to check: • Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60PSI (Refer to: Does my water source have to be of a certain PSI to run the unit properly?) • Check that there is at least 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water from going into the unit and prevent proper pressure. • For best results, use a 1” (25 mm) or 5/8” (16 mm) garden hose. • Check that the water inlet is not clogged. Disconnect the garden hose, remove the filter and rinse with warm water.

Why does the handle of my power washer leak when I use it? It is new. I attached the hose and bless the air out so water flowed smoothly before I started to spray. This is a new washer. Any trouble shooting info on it talks about broken o rings etc.

The plug keeps tripping and it will not stay on. It’s brand new, just put together out of the box today and have tried multiple outlets. Please help!

Asked by: KAti
Hello KAti, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. There are a few unexpected things that could cause this reaction! Please try out the following troubleshooting. First, try another nozzle. A faulty nozzle ccan cause this recation. If the issue is not nozzle specific, purge any excess air from the pump. If the issue persists or you have narrowed the issue down and require a replacement nozzle, please give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or send an email to info@greenworkstools.com. We hope to hear from you soon and look forward to making this right!
