Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is an excellent pressure washer for the money I bought this pressure washer two years ago and it is still running perfectly. Many people have complained of the motor cutting in and out....THIS MEANS YOU HAVE AIR TRAPPED IN THE HOSE! Simply disconnect the hose and run water through it to clear out the air pocket I also suggest changing to a different tip if it happens. The water pressure at my house is low so we have to use the wide pattern white tip...the green top causes the motor to cycle off. No big deal! For the money you cant do better than this unit. We pressure wash our house, cars, and pull deck...no problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved it at first.... I bought this pressure washer last year and it worked great! I actually loved to do the 'cleaning' ! This year got it out and worked first day out. Then next time I went to use it - 2 days later - the soap would NOT flow through the tubing. I could see that the soap was in the first 3-4 inches but would not move! I massaged the tube and got it to the other end but still it would not soap my area to wash! I am using the correct soap for this machine and have always used the proper soap. I am using the black tip and still NO soap when it is in the tube and the tank.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy it again I bought this unit last year. I used it 3 or 4 times and it worked great. This year the want is leaking. I took it apart to see what might be wrong with it. The wand was busted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pump problems I bought the machine almost a year ago and was used a couple of times. First some reason it does not have any pressure so I removed the pump to find a gear behind the bearing in 3 pieces. Can I order a new part to fix my problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't last I've had this pressure washer for 2 years, and used it 5 times. I was more than satisfied with its performance. However, when I went to use it for the sixth time it appears the power cord has shorted out. I talked with product support and after giving me some troubleshooting tips, none of which solved the problem, I was told to take it to a repair shop. Even though the product is past its one-year warranty, I expected better than this. If it's only going to last for 5 sessions, then it should say on the box "only lasts for 5 uses". Very dissapointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cleaning basement floor Used it twice last year on my patio worked about as well as a strong waterhose.. Tried using this week to clean my basement floor plugged it in, turned water on turned power on and got NOTHING. Tried several times same result. Another example of you get what you pay for. After reading the reviews Greenworks should replace each one of the complaints with an upgraded model. Its not the air in the waterline.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won’t stay on for very long. The unit has been used only 2-3 times. It has never run for more than a few minutes before shutting off.

I have the Greenworks GPW1800 and while I was using it after about 10 minutes all of a sudden a small jet of water starting coming out of the side of the plastic wand. I can barely see a tiny little hole in the side of the wand...is this normal?

My soap nozzle has ceased to emit soap!  How do I remedy??  Also, what kind/brand of soap should I be using?  I purchased the soap at Lowes, but I’m not sure my spouse picked up the correct one!

Asked by: Csferrell
Hello Csferrell, Please make sure to rinse the nozzle out after each use. You should use pressure washer detergent designed for pressure washers. We advise that the detergent be diluted to the viscosity of water.

The Auto On/Off Switch for my GSW 1803 (purchased in 2018) no longer automatically turns off. Pump motor continues to run, excess pressure prevents the ball valve from opening when trigger is pulled. Is switch bad?

My handle on my 1800 pressure washer does not work anymore. Once I turn on the electric motor, the water comes out at full spray pressure. It also leaks terribly through the pull handle. Can I buy just the entire replacement sprayer handle?

Asked by: Reemer
Hello Reemer, This may be due to a connection issue or worn threading. Please ensure that both parts are tightly secured and threaded correctly. We do sell the wand through our third party parts distributor here: https://greenworks.ordertree.com/ Simply use the part number from your manual to order. Should you have any further questions or warranty needs, please feel free to let our Greenworks representative know by calling 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) We're always happy to help.

My green works 1800 will not start. I used it a month ago and it was running fine, now it will not start. I push the reset button and the motor starts but immediately stops, any idea how I can fix this problem.

Asked by: Don4429
Hello Don4429, Please make sure to bleed the unit prior to use. If the unit turns on and goes off it may just be in resting mode. Simply squeeze the trigger handle to activate the unit. Here's how to purge it: The unit should be off. Connect the garden hose to the pressure washer. Connect the high pressure hose and the spray gun/wand. No nozzle. Turn the water on. Hold down and squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to purge out any water or air from the unit for a good 1 - 2 minutes. This will relieve any built-up pressure. While you're still holding the trigger switch the pressure washer to on.

how can i switch from soap to just water? I don't want to wait until the soap runs out, and I would rather not disconnect everything and try to turn it upside down to dump out the soap.

Asked by: gwysgwy
Hello gwysgwy, The soap tank will only release if you use the black soap nozzle. If you add any other nozzle or a high-pressure soap applicator the soap tank will not be activated.
