What is the difference between the GPW2300 and the GPW2301 (just introduced on the Lowe’s site)? Also, on the 2301, does water spray immediately (or is there a 1-2sec lag)?

Asked by: 808BOB
Hello 808BOB, There is no difference between the two units however, our current 2300-PSI is a Lowe's Exclusive.

I am trying to register the warranty on a 2300 psi pressure washer and cannot access the registration page. When I enter the address that came with the tool I get a message that tells me to go back to home page/account and on link there either.

What is the psi rating at 2.3gpm, and what is the gpm at 2300 psi? What size nozzle orfice should be used with thus unit?

Asked by: Bert042
Hello Bert042 - The GPW2300 has Smart Pressure Technology. At low pressure, using the black soap nozzle only, the flow is 2.3 GPM at approximately 100PSI. At high pressure, using any of the other nozzles, the flow is 1.2 GPM. Each nozzle has an orifice size of 3.0mm.

should this work for a foam cannon that is rated at 2 and above GPM. also it is an 1.1mm orifice

Asked by: alex1
You want to switch to a 1.25 orfice. the 1.1 isn’t enough water flow for anything above 2 GPM. Hope this helps

The unit is 2.3 gpm, but the wand that came with mine is only 1.2 gpm max. Why is this?

Asked by: Bert042
Hello Bert042 - The GPW2300 has Smart Pressure Technology. At low pressure, using the black soap nozzle, the flow is 2.3 GPM. At high pressure, using any of the other nozzles, the flow is 1.2 GPM.

What is the difference between this model and the Lowes version? the Lowes version is $30 more and I'm trying to figure out why. Is there an estimate when this will be in stock again?

Asked by: Joel13
Hello Joel13, If the one at Lowe's has the same model GPW2300 then it's the same unit. We are unable to advise as to the pricing difference at Lowe's as they set their own prices accordingly. This unit is currently not available.

Is there a way to shut off the soap or do I have to drain it?

Asked by: Mooney
Hello Mooney, The soap dispenser only works when the soap nozzle (black nozzle) is attached. To stop the soap simply switch the nozzle to any of the other nozzles that are provided. We hope this information has helped.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality I bought this in the beginning of April and I was only able to use it once to clean three cars and part of my driveway. In the middle of cleaning my driveway it stopped working. After inspecting the pressure washer I noticed that two of the bolts on the bottom housing were backing out and another bolt had sheared off creating a leak from the housing. After multiple calls to the customer service with only being left on hold and an email which never got a response to, I have to say that it is some of the worst customer service. I was pleased with using the green works lawnmower and weed eater, but after this incident with the pressure washer I will be very skeptical of buying the leaf blower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power for the concrete, gentle for the car. Great product couldn't be happier. Has enough power to remove stains from concrete and plenty of water flow to operate a foam cannon to wash your car. It is truely a treat to only have this running when you squeeze the handle instead of a gas engine blaring constantly in the back ground. Even when this does run it is much quieter than you would expect for the power this puts out. Super convenient quick change connectors, nice flexible hose with handy storage cart this will not disapoint. I have to be honest i was skeptical to go from gas to electric but this thing can do everything the gas one will do but with less noise and smell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful electric machine that does a great job I've had mine a year, use it for a paver driveway, walk, painted Lanai. Works great. Lot of power for an electric unit. Very happy with it so far. Looks great too! Improvements: * Hose is light colored with a woven cover (nylon?). Prefer standard black rubber which would likely hold up better although I've had no problems thus far. * Holder for the wand could be more secure. Wand always falling out. These are minor issues. This is not an inexpensive unit and the cost bumps up against some lower tier gas models but I wanted the convenience of electric (no gas, gas storage issues, oil changes, noise etc.). Recommend for a home owner who keeps up with their cleaning needs. My ratings are compared to other electric PWs, not compared to gas PWs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more gas! This is a a great unit for the homeowner. I've had my gas pressure washer in for expensive service twice in the past two years. I've always used ethanol-free gas and fuel stabilizer...no more! Picked this one up yesterday and restored 50 feet of fence in no time. It does a great job and works as well as my comparable gas pressure washer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Pressure Washer is a BEAST I was skeptical making the switch from gas to electric, especially for pressure washers but this unit not only met but exceeded my expectations! It powerful! It’s very easy to set up and use and I never have to worry about winterizing my pressure washer again!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I have had this product only one day but my first impressions are solid. It appears to be well built and it went together easily. All you need is a large Phillips screwdriver. I wasn't sure if 2300 psi would be enough to do my driveway in a reasonable amount of time but it definitely was. As you can see in the photo where I left a patch the driveway was really dirty. I used the turbo nozzle and it was very effective. As you may have read in other reviews there is a lag between when you pull the trigger and when it reaches full pressure. It takes 2 or 3 seconds but for the driveway job I wasn't stopping and starting very often so it didn't bother me at all. Obviously I haven't used it much but based on my first impressions I can recommend this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Problems on 2nd use 1st time using the soap function, the tube from soap tank to the washer leaked so bad , I could not use this feature. The soap mix leaks out because there is no type clamp on either end of the tube to tighten the tube onto the connections. This seems a poor design or poor quality control.
