Awesome!
We needed a trimmer that could be used by everyone in our household, from our teenage daughters to the adults. The telescoping shaft allows each of us to use it comfortably, from my 5'3" daughter to my 6'1" husband! Weight of the machine is always a concern for us & this one is spot on. The cushioned grip was a great surprise! It definitely added to the comfort of doing a not so fun job. Thrilled to know that we can use one tool now to do both trimming & edging. We found this trimmer to be powerful enough to cut through some of our thicker stalked weeds like they were butter. Great trimmer & edger!

Electric is best!
I have had several greenworks products in the past, a garden tiller, leaf blower and chainsaw. So it’s no surprise the weed eater is the same quality. I have an acre yard. Was able to do all the weed eater on a full charge. It took me about 45 minutes and there was still power left. The weight is very light, but would still suggest a strap for extended use. The strings are not the typical plastic. They are make to withstand multiple uses before replacement which I prefer. Maybe it’s the guard on it, but felt like I caught a lot less kickback than when usual other gas powered ones. Overall great product by greenworks once again.

An Excellent Cordless Trimmer
No muss and no fuss with this trimmer, it makes yard work easy while being environmentalIy friendly. I used to have a gas powered trimmer and it was always a hassle dealing with the gas, oil mixture and obstinate starting and this battery powered unit eliminated all that grief. The four amp hour battery is plenty enough power to do my front and back yards, about 30-40 minutes, with most of the battery charge left over. Also need to add that the battery pack itself has a convenient power meter to give you state of charge, an added plus. The trimmer head has ample power to cut through grass and heavy weeds with no problem. Just a great trimmer, never going back to gas!

Excellent Power
Great product with awesome amount of power. I have owned many different types of trimmers, including gas trimmers and trimmers that are attached to a chord. The green works, Torqdrive is extremely powerful and easily trims and cuts through grass on my property. It is convenient to use since it runs of a battery and easy to start. I have used it multiple times and i have yet had to recharge the battery. I did test the the charger which confirmed for me that is easy to remove the battery and charge it, when the time comes. Great product, great quality and great price. I would definitely recommend this trimmer.

Gets the job done quickly
Got this for my husband and he is so happy with it. It charges quickly and the battery lasts a long time. It's lightweight and he said it was much more powerful the others he has used with a powerful cut. Got the yard done so much quicker and without having to drag out the cords. The trimmer was super easy to put together and operate. Even I was able to easily use it. I could not even tell if it was actually on and cutting at first it was so smooth. It's very efficient and honestly has made life much easier when it comes to the yard work. I highly recommend this trimmer. It's a great value, powerful, lightweight and overall performance and quality exceeded my expectations in a trimmer.

Excellent string trimmer.Great value and highly recommend! This is well designed for maintaining a yard. It is lightweight and easy to use. As a middle aged, average size female, I found it easy to use and not overwhelming. It also comes with a USB port on the battery, which I've noticed is extra with other brands and standard here. This gives you the option of a portable battery charger for emergencies, camping, etc. I wouldn't recommend this product for clearing an overgrown field, but its awesome for an urban or suburban yard you're keeping up. Lightweight & easy to use - highly recommend!

I've had this trimmer for a couple of weeks and i have worked it hard! I have 2.5 acres and it has been made me wonder how I have lived with out this for so long! It is lightweight, and easy for a small, older woman like me to handle. Being battery operated it allows me to go all over my yard, compared to the eclectic one I had before. Gas tools and I don't get along! It bumps easily to advance the trimmer line. As a bonus added feature, there is a USB port on the battery so I can charge my phone or other device when needed. I love this trimmer! Makes my yard work much easier!

Good Product!
The string trimmer was very easy to install. The battery took 3 hours to charge to full.
The string spool was preinstalled so I could straight away try it on my yard.
It was lightweight but powerful enough to edge my yard which had not been edged for 4 weeks. I noticed that the lack of wheel support while edging caused me to waver and
I did not cut in a straight line. The bump advance did not work initially but I got a hang of it later. I have not yet hanged the line so cant comment on how easy it would be to change the spool but going with the rest of the installation I don't think it would be difficult. Overall a good product from Green Works except it would have been good if they provided the wheel in every model.
