Mighty and Green!
This is my 5th Greenworks tool, so I purchased the 40V since I already had a charger and 3 other batteries. I live in Colorado where most of the time we get light fluffy powder. However in the spring we get heavy wet slushy snow. I received this snow blower just before our latest storm, which was the heaviest wettest dumping of slush/snow I've seen. I was skeptical it would be able to handle it, but it worked great! I had to stop to clear the chute a couple times, but so did my neighbor who has a monster gas powered snow blower. We have wide driveway and we're on a corner lot, so we have a lot to clear. I am very pleased with the way this tool handled the slush, the "normal" snow will be a breeze. This tool as all of the others by Greenworks, is much easier to maintain so quiet compared to gas powered tools. It is also much better for our planet, if your on the fence, just do it.

I'm in Northern Wisconsin. Is this going to be able to handle the almost daily 1-3" snow falls? (I would use the big two stage for anything over 6"), and what type of material contacts 'the road' ? I would expect that to get worn and need to replace?
This unit clear driveways, sidewalks and patios with a 16" clearing path, 8" clearing depth, and 20' throwing distance. The impeller is plastic the material is polyethylene plastic, which is light and quite durable. Parts such as belts, impeller and scrapers will need to be replacement when worn; these parts are considered wear and tear and not covered under warranty.
