How do you start a green works roto toller
Hello,
Start by inserting a fully charged battery then press and hold the start button for ~3 seconds. While still holding the start button, pull up on the bail lever. Once the unit has started, you can release your finger from the start button and simply hold the bail back for continued operation.

Will this tiller cut through flower roots/tubers such as Iris, Lily? Also will it break up a gravel-dirt path?
Hello CC65,
This cultivator is for use in loose soil (flower beds, borders etc) in order to turn/mix soil and fertilizer together to prepare for planting. Depending on soil conditions the tiller will go down to a depth of 5 inches.

Will this tool work like a lawn dethatcher ?
Hello eagledan,
No, the unit is ideal for loosening of ground and removal of dirt. Dethatching is less aggressive and removes small amounts of thatch from a lawn that is mostly healthy. Please click the link here https://www.greenworkstools.com/10-14inch-corded-dethatcher-349 to view our Dethatcher.

Great tiller for your garden
Bought the tiller 2 years ago and still works great to till around plants after garden Once garden it is so easy to plug in battery and let your wife till around the plants light weight so instead of dragging the gas tiller and try to maneuver around the plants and in between the cages she can do it better if you put grass clipping close to plant stems to keep the moisture in The only hard part is to remove the battery after pushing down I release you have to pry out battery Would highly recommend a stronger spring to release battery

Battery
I like the size and ability to get into a small area. Removing the battery from the cultivator has proven to be a very difficult process.

Faster than gas power.
I use this tiller for raised bed growing and it works great. It is light enough to carry from one raised bed to the next one and the battery lasts longer than I care or need to use it. I have several Greenworks tools and plenty of charged batteries available to swap from one to another.

Power in a small package
I used this tool to dig an entirely new garden bed and to flatten out a small hill in order to put in an above ground pool.
It saved me so much money rather than renting a large digger or small backhoe. Great tool.

Great little tool!
I have owned this cultivator for a couple years now and still works well. I use it for weeding mostly. It is small enough to get where my tiller can not. The G-Max line up is great!!!

I love my greenworks tiller! Light enough for me to handle but strong enough for my needs. Works great in my flower beds and vegetable garden. And no gas, no cords!!
