What are the two different batteries usedfor

Asked by: Ntgrnup
Hello, The two batteries are to provide ample run time. While only one can be used at a time, you will have an extra in case one depletes while in use.

Is there a leaf blower that uses the same battery as this mower?

Asked by: lgtcc
Greenworks 40V GMAX machines are compatible and interchangeable with all Greenworks 40V GMAX batteries and charger. In regards this lawn mower, or any other 40V product that does explicitly indicate GMAX on our website, they would also be compatible and interchangeable with all Greenworks 40V GMAX products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from About 5 years and still going I have had this lawn mower for about 5 years now. One of my biggest concerns was how long would the batteries last. Well they have exceeded my expectations and are still going strong. My lawn is not very big but there were several times where the grass was very much overgrown. I was concerned at first but now it does not bother me to cut the grass when it is overgrown. I do have to go a little slower and may need to charge one of the batteries again but the advantages far outweigh recharging a battery. The fact that you do not need to buy gas change the oil in the lawn mower and the spark plug make this lawn mower a win-win

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Improvement Over Gas I've had my Greenworks Mover for about two years now. I use it to mow a 4000-sq ft lawn. Most of the time, I can get the job done with the single larger battery. I've also found that it works great as a vacuum to pick up leaves from the lawn and gravelled areas.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from absolute worst lawnmower ever do NOT buy this piece of junk. it works for 3 months, after which you run into every problem possible. the batteries don’t charge if they’re remotely warm, since the charger shows a green dot (indicating that it’s full) despite being empty. when actually cutting grass, it can’t cut it and turns off too often. the grass is barely long, 5 inches down to a 3 on the machine. the mower just... stops. it’s been 2 hours of pushing the mower, having it stop after maybe 4 feet of cutting, and restarting it and i’m not even done with the front of my lawn. terrible lawnmower, save your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right size! I received my new mower just in time to use on certain areas of our yard. I have been using a riding mower but wanted to get more exercise so opted for this model. There are several hard-to-get-to areas in our yard and this mower fits the bill! It is very convenient to stop and start and easy to re-charge the batteries! The grass catcher bag is not really that heavy when it is full; I have just carried it to our trash trailer rather than feeling like I needed to wheel it over in a wheelbarrow! Thanks to Greenworks for this environmentally minded tool !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Little Mower is a Beast! This little mower is a beast! Next to no maintenance, the only thing I do is clean under the deck if and when I mow wet grass. I have owned this mower over 1 year with not a single issue, just ordered 2 new blades today. I mow some tight trouble places in our pastures with grass at least 18 inches tall (probably not recommended by greenworks) and this mower handles it just fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Performance My Mother in Law purchased one of these for her duplex. She lives on one side and rents the other. We are not able to mow both front yards on a single charge. The 2 front yards are very small 20x20 square feet each. This has been the case since mower being purchased new. I thought I would give it a try again tonight but the charge only lasted 15 minutes. The grass has just started growing and is not thick or tall yet. I would not recommend this style of mower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! I bought my 19” mower several months ago and have been very pleased with its performance. It is a lot quieter and less maintenance compared to a gasoline mower. The 2 batteries it came with can be charged fairly quick and my yard is small which I can cut with the 2.0 battery. With the 4.0 battery I can cut 2 small yards at least.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can’t get parts It worked fine, right up until I lost the safety key. I’ve been trying for nearly a year to get one. So, my mower has been sitting in my shop for nearly a year. The dealer I bought it from said they can not get in touch with GreenWorks. $400.00 down the drain.
