Worthwhile tool
This saw seems to be well and solidly made, and worked well to cut a small tree whose base was hard to reach. Adjusting the chain was straightforward. The automatic oiling is a real plus.

Love the pole
The reach is fantastic. The weight is so low makes it easy to handle.

Great Yard Tool
Easy to assemble (one minute), easy to,use (love the cutting angle) and much safer than my gas powered chainsaw (you're 6 feet away from a possible chain accident).

Lightweight, Gets the Job Done
I bought this for some yard work around the house. I asked my husband to help me with the instructions and setup and have not been able to get it out of his hands since :-) We like that the middle section can be removed if that length is not needed. Suggestion for the company--include a small bottle of lubricant in the kit because you cannot start using this without lubricant. The smallest lubricant bottle we could find was a quart size. Also, I am disappointed that the storage bag mentioned in the handbook is not included with this kit AND the company does not offer this bag to buy in its accessories section online. We'll just have to store the saw in the box.

Does this chain saw have an over temp switch or a fuse in the handle? I was using it for a cut and when I tried to make the next cut, the saw would not start. I plugged it into a different circuit and it still would not start.
Hello Berthoud Customer,
When using a power tool at a considerable distance from a power source, be sure to use an extension cord that has the capacity to handle the current the product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage, resulting in overheating and loss of power. When working outdoors with a product, use an extension cord that is designed for outside use. This type of cord is designated with “W-A” or “W” on the cord’s jacket. Before using any extension cord, inspect it for loose or exposed wires and cut or worn insulation.
We are sorry to hear about this experience. Please reach out to our team directly at 1-888-909-6757 or by sending an email to info@greenworkstools.com. We ask that you please have access to the unit so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information
