I like the machine but it just stopped working. I charged the battery for one day, the red blinking light came on. I tested the battery and I get 40V. Is the battery bad? I get nothing from the blower with the battery installed. Very unhappy.

The Red Flashing light can occur if the charger has been left plugged into the outlet. Simply unplug the charger, wait one minute, plug the charger back in and try to reinsert the battery. If you are still experiencing a red flashing light, unplug the charger again, move it to a different location, plug the charger back in and reinsert the battery. Yes, all GreenWorks 60v batteries are interchangeable with GreenWorks 60v units. The only issues you may experience using a heavier battery is the added weight to the unit which may not be as comfortable to handle as a smaller battery.

How long does a charged battery last during us

Using the tool at a low speed you can expect up to 45 minutes. When used at high speed, approximately 20 minutes run time for the supplied 2.5Ah battery as this unit does draw quite a bit of power on high. The run time can be extended by using the product at a lower speed when higher speeds are not necessary. Blowers are considered a high power draw application.

Make sure the blower tube is in position before operation. Ensure the battery is seated correcting. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in the battery compartment. 2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment until the battery pack locks into place. 3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed. Pull the trigger to start the machine. Pull the trigger fully to increase the speed. Release the trigger to decrease the speed.

The four (4) year warranty is against defects in materials, parts or workmanship. The full details can be found in the owners manual. Essentially the difference between the 4ah and 2.5 ah batteries is weight, run time and charge time. Tube does not have an adjustment. I've had the 60v leaf blower for about a year and is used sparingly. Today I tried to use it and put the nutters into the slot and it only makes a clicking sound. Battery says fully charged but no motor comes on. What is causing that?

Wow ! I can’t believe it’s cordless!!
Bought this blower with the 60v battery to match my weed eater by Greenworks.
It worked great. It cleared my yard of leaves and other debris with ease. Best thing , it didn’t wear me out like my old gas unit. And if I neeeded a little more power , the 610 cfm button gave me the extra push. This fall I dumped all the leaf and grass clippings in a pile at the entrance to my fenced 20x20 garden. Then used this blower to spread matter evenly and easily over entire garden. What a time saver and effective use of ‘this tool. Definitely recommend to anyone.
Note to those who had battery problems: Charge and remove, store in a area that won’t freeze. Once a month, recharge as needed. Battery will stay like new.

Was I surprised
I was in the market for a leaf blower for my sidewalks and drive. I thought my only option was a gas powered unit. I had always thought the electric and cordless units were weak and for old people. I found the 60v Greenworks Axial in lowes and I did some quick research while there and decided ill try it and if I don't like it I'll take it back.. well let me just say, I will never go back to gas! The amount of power and the runtime make these a no-brainer! I've already converted some of my fellow homeowners over to cordless! Will be in my garage until I can't walk!

Pro Power Without the Petrol
I bought this blower after I was tired of the hassle of dealing with my backpack blower. My yard has beautiful trees that unfortunately like to shed on my lawn all the time. So When I bought this blower I thought I would give up power for convenience...I’ve had this blower for a little over a month and I can say it has more power than my back pack blower and is as easy as popping in a battery and getting to work. This is not my first 60v tool of greenworks and it definitely won’t be my last! If you are on the fence about making the switch to battery don’t be.

Just keeps on working and easy to operate
I bought my 60 volt blower several years ago . I also have a gas blower . I have a 500 foot driveway and a large parking area to keep clean of leaves and grime. I use the green works and my wife uses the gas one . Things have changed , my wife no longer uses the gas one and has claimed the Greenworks Blower. Loves it for snow and anything else that need its use . I just ordered a larger new battery for it because she won't let loose of it as long as there is power left . It is a great tool and we love it or i wouldn't have invested in a much larger battery.

Plenty of POWER!
I’ve had my blower for 3 years give or take. I was a skeptic. I was willing to try it to see if it had enough power. I was tired of mixing fuel and keeping the gas powered blower running. Ethanol kept me replacing fuel lines. Also, my wife could not crank the gas powered blower. This blower was awesome! Plenty of power, easy to use, no gas mixing, no smelling like fuel after using, and my wife loves to use it to clean the patio off. We also take it camping to help clean up around the camper. I wish the battery lasted a little longer for the blower.

Just Pull the Trigger and Go!
After years of thinking I had to use a gas powered blower to get a strong air volume, with all the mixing of fuel, cleaning carburators, replacing pull cords & fuel lines, and winterizing, I finally decided to try the Greenworks 60V Axial Leaf Blower. I never thought I could get that much air from a battery-powered blower. It is amazing. The fact that you can lock on the trigger AND boost the air volume with a Turbo switch, makes it even more capable. By the time I am through cutting grass I am hot, tired, and sweating. I hated dealing with a gas blower that, half the time, needed some work before it would start. Now I just pull the trigger and start blowing. Liked it so much I'm now shopping for a Greenworks 60V string trimmer!

I found Trevor, your phone contact very helpful. I found your automated system a problem. The first time I called I was given the open to leave me number for call back and did. The callback however showed on my phone ID as coming from Canada not Greenworks. The second time I called I was not offered an option to leave a number. The website said all leaf blowers were 25% off "with restrictions" but the restrictions could not be accessed. I did not get the discount as my item was on sale per Trevor. I understand this but it would have been nice to know up front. I called because when I tried to buy on line it would not accept the sale code. This is the third Greenworks product I have purchased and am very happy with them; the others were bought in person.

Real Blow Hard
This 60v leaf blower is terrific. It is so convenient to use and it has more than enough power to get the job done. The 2.5ah battery it came with does limit the operating time which is about 15 minutes w/o using turbo. Would have preferred a 4, 5 or 6ah battery so I wouldn't have to rush the job. I know the higher ah batteries cost more but they are worth it unless you are blowing out a small garage/workshop or small driveway. You cannot beat the convenience of being cordless and internal combustion free.

What a GREAT blower
I purchased this blower a couple of months ago and have used it daily. It replaced a gas unit and at first I was apprehensive about the power but once I used it the worries were over. I think it is more powerful than the old gas one and much easier to control. I am so pleased that I just placed an order for a Greenworks lawn mower and string trimmer with the same battery voltage. At some point I will probably get a chainsaw to complete my collection of lawn tools and then I will be all battery and no more gas.

Use as a Snow blower too!!
This blower is very powerful! Battery last a long time. I was amazed at how well it blew all the walnuts that had fallen in my yard. NO raking needed!! SOOOO when we had our first snow fall I tried it out. SHOCKED that it blew the snow just as well as my small snow blower!! I don't think it would work on a heavy wet snow though, but it did great on the light dry snow that fell. Love the Cruise Control Lever and the Turbo Button! It is a bit heavy for me though, but I'm an old lady so it may not be for others.

BLOW HARD !
After struggling with a newer smelly, messy, gasoline blower being unable to start I have had enough!
I also have an electric corded blower that I have had for years but was limited on distance because of being plugged and the lack of power to efficiently do a clean job without going over and over to pick up all the leaves. I needed a change to overcome these frustrations so I purchased the Greenworks 60v cordless blower. What a huge difference form my previous machines.
I have more power with 610cfm than any blower I've had that equals a commercial blower in power.
It's quieter than my other machines which means I can use this anytime day or night without disturbing my neighbors, and has enough battery life to do all my cleanup. Thanks again Greenworks for making my life easier.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Purchased this blower after being impressed by the mower and trimmer bought. I have an old corded blower, and this machine "blows" it away. It has really good wind power. The trigger lock to keep it on while blowing doesn't seem like much, but it really makes a big difference with hand fatigue. I do find myself using the turbo feature quite often, but I don't think that's a reflection of the wind power, I just have A LOT of leaves. There are 15 oak trees in my yard, so this blower definitely has it's work cut out for it.
As a side note, I now own a mower, blower, trimmer, and pressure washer. Since they're all the same voltage (60) I can swap batteries between the tools as needed, making things super convenient. Just something to consider if you're updating all your yard tools like I did.

Several products I own from Greenworks
It is astoundingly powerful, and 1 charge will last at least a half hour at full throttle! It’s ability to throttle down is a great feature in close quarters. and eliminates blowing away your mulch/pine bark bed covering. I also have the 60v mower sharing the same battery and charger; and, to boot, I have your ac operated power washer, and that is on my 5th season of use! All great time and energy saving products....my energy that is.... and I’m 82 years old and can manage the tools easily!

Excellent Product.
Very happy with this purchase. I had been using the 40v small blower and this thing literally blows it away. With TURBO I can clear my front yard in about 5 minutes. Really happy with the performance and price. The extra battery is great for my new mower as well to have some extra juice when needed. I use turbo almost the entire time and will get about 20minutes out of the 2.5ah battery. Haven't tried it with my 5ah battery yet, but I really don't need much more time than that at my home.

This thing Blows (in a good way)
My review may be a bit premature as I don't have much real world experience, yet. I have used it to blow snow, and for that it works well. My only complaint, and it's not enough to cost a star, would be lack of mounting options. I'd gladly pay a few more bucks to have a plastic mount in which to slide the unit for hanging on the wall (in case Greenworks is listenening). Otherwise, I'm all in on Greenworks. I already had the string trimmer and am looking at the chainsaw next.

Very Impressed!
I purchased this tool to replace a backpack gas blower and an electric one that required a cord. The 60v blower does not disappoint. It is so easy to use, I find myself using it much more often than I ever used the gas and corded ones I had. One of the nicest things is being able to carry it though the house to blow off the front porch. Quiet green power
This leaf blower is both quiet and light but powerful. I have a lot of 0.7 acers with a few trees and this will fully clean my yard with one fully charged battery. The power is nice and the easily adjustable power output are responsive and simple to use. I do wish that the Turbo mode didn't suck battery quite so fast though.

Very nice, powerful blower
This would have received 5 stars if the battery was larger. Blower performance is at least equal to a backpack-style 2-cycle gas blower I had for years, and this one is quieter, lighter, and much easier to use. The only problem is the 2.5ah 60v battery only gives 45 min of operation (at most) - nowhere near what’s needed for my yard. I’d give 5 stars if I could buy the 5ah batt, but that won’t be available until sometime in 2021 (according to Greewworks Cust Serv).

Most powerful blower ever used
I primarily bought this to replace my smaller sweeper and also the fact that it had a 60v battery which I wanted to also use for my greenworks mower.
I was literally blown away by the power on this blower, which was 3-5 times the power of my previous blowers which were reasonable in blowing leaves but nothing else. This one blows out everything in its path, especially with the turbo function including the heavy mulch that gets drifted into the walking path.

Wow ! I can’t believe it’s cordless!!
Bought this blower with the 60v battery to match my weed eater by Greenworks.
It worked great. It cleared my yard of leaves and other debris with ease. Best thing , it didn’t wear me out like my old gas unit. And if I neeeded a little more power , the 610 cfm button gave me the extra push. This fall I dumped all the leaf and grass clippings in a pile at the entrance to my fenced 20x20 garden. Then used this blower to spread matter evenly and easily over entire garden. What a time saver and effective use of ‘this tool. Definitely recommend to anyone.
Note to those who had battery problems: Charge and remove, store in a area that won’t freeze. Once a month, recharge as needed. Battery will stay like new.

Was I surprised
I was in the market for a leaf blower for my sidewalks and drive. I thought my only option was a gas powered unit. I had always thought the electric and cordless units were weak and for old people. I found the 60v Greenworks Axial in lowes and I did some quick research while there and decided ill try it and if I don't like it I'll take it back.. well let me just say, I will never go back to gas! The amount of power and the runtime make these a no-brainer! I've already converted some of my fellow homeowners over to cordless! Will be in my garage until I can't walk!

Pro Power Without the Petrol
I bought this blower after I was tired of the hassle of dealing with my backpack blower. My yard has beautiful trees that unfortunately like to shed on my lawn all the time. So When I bought this blower I thought I would give up power for convenience...I’ve had this blower for a little over a month and I can say it has more power than my back pack blower and is as easy as popping in a battery and getting to work. This is not my first 60v tool of greenworks and it definitely won’t be my last! If you are on the fence about making the switch to battery don’t be.

Just keeps on working and easy to operate
I bought my 60 volt blower several years ago . I also have a gas blower . I have a 500 foot driveway and a large parking area to keep clean of leaves and grime. I use the green works and my wife uses the gas one . Things have changed , my wife no longer uses the gas one and has claimed the Greenworks Blower. Loves it for snow and anything else that need its use . I just ordered a larger new battery for it because she won't let loose of it as long as there is power left . It is a great tool and we love it or i wouldn't have invested in a much larger battery.

Plenty of POWER!
I’ve had my blower for 3 years give or take. I was a skeptic. I was willing to try it to see if it had enough power. I was tired of mixing fuel and keeping the gas powered blower running. Ethanol kept me replacing fuel lines. Also, my wife could not crank the gas powered blower. This blower was awesome! Plenty of power, easy to use, no gas mixing, no smelling like fuel after using, and my wife loves to use it to clean the patio off. We also take it camping to help clean up around the camper. I wish the battery lasted a little longer for the blower.

Just Pull the Trigger and Go!
After years of thinking I had to use a gas powered blower to get a strong air volume, with all the mixing of fuel, cleaning carburators, replacing pull cords & fuel lines, and winterizing, I finally decided to try the Greenworks 60V Axial Leaf Blower. I never thought I could get that much air from a battery-powered blower. It is amazing. The fact that you can lock on the trigger AND boost the air volume with a Turbo switch, makes it even more capable. By the time I am through cutting grass I am hot, tired, and sweating. I hated dealing with a gas blower that, half the time, needed some work before it would start. Now I just pull the trigger and start blowing. Liked it so much I'm now shopping for a Greenworks 60V string trimmer!

I found Trevor, your phone contact very helpful. I found your automated system a problem. The first time I called I was given the open to leave me number for call back and did. The callback however showed on my phone ID as coming from Canada not Greenworks. The second time I called I was not offered an option to leave a number. The website said all leaf blowers were 25% off "with restrictions" but the restrictions could not be accessed. I did not get the discount as my item was on sale per Trevor. I understand this but it would have been nice to know up front. I called because when I tried to buy on line it would not accept the sale code. This is the third Greenworks product I have purchased and am very happy with them; the others were bought in person.

Real Blow Hard
This 60v leaf blower is terrific. It is so convenient to use and it has more than enough power to get the job done. The 2.5ah battery it came with does limit the operating time which is about 15 minutes w/o using turbo. Would have preferred a 4, 5 or 6ah battery so I wouldn't have to rush the job. I know the higher ah batteries cost more but they are worth it unless you are blowing out a small garage/workshop or small driveway. You cannot beat the convenience of being cordless and internal combustion free.

I am so happy I chose this blower! The power is impressive. For all the females out there taking care of your own chores, this is a great choice! I live in a wooded area in the country and have lots of leaves. I like the idea of the interchangeable battery, because I purchased the weed eater this summer. Green Works is awesome!

What a GREAT blower
I purchased this blower a couple of months ago and have used it daily. It replaced a gas unit and at first I was apprehensive about the power but once I used it the worries were over. I think it is more powerful than the old gas one and much easier to control. I am so pleased that I just placed an order for a Greenworks lawn mower and string trimmer with the same battery voltage. At some point I will probably get a chainsaw to complete my collection of lawn tools and then I will be all battery and no more gas.

Use as a Snow blower too!!
This blower is very powerful! Battery last a long time. I was amazed at how well it blew all the walnuts that had fallen in my yard. NO raking needed!! SOOOO when we had our first snow fall I tried it out. SHOCKED that it blew the snow just as well as my small snow blower!! I don't think it would work on a heavy wet snow though, but it did great on the light dry snow that fell. Love the Cruise Control Lever and the Turbo Button! It is a bit heavy for me though, but I'm an old lady so it may not be for others.

BLOW HARD !
After struggling with a newer smelly, messy, gasoline blower being unable to start I have had enough!
I also have an electric corded blower that I have had for years but was limited on distance because of being plugged and the lack of power to efficiently do a clean job without going over and over to pick up all the leaves. I needed a change to overcome these frustrations so I purchased the Greenworks 60v cordless blower. What a huge difference form my previous machines.
I have more power with 610cfm than any blower I've had that equals a commercial blower in power.
It's quieter than my other machines which means I can use this anytime day or night without disturbing my neighbors, and has enough battery life to do all my cleanup. Thanks again Greenworks for making my life easier.

Simple. Light. Easy to use. Does what I need it to.
Bought this about a month ago. Only used a handful of times so far but seems to get the job done pretty good. Used it to clean of driveway after mowing and leaves after they fallen. Got the job done and was really easy to use. Would recommend.

Incredible Power!
I was always apprehensive of cordless lawn tools until I got the Greenworks blower. It has tons of power to handle the leaves and debris on our 1-acre yard. And the battery life longevity is great too! It usually outlasts me!

Exactly what I was looking for!
Purchased this blower after being impressed by the mower and trimmer bought. I have an old corded blower, and this machine "blows" it away. It has really good wind power. The trigger lock to keep it on while blowing doesn't seem like much, but it really makes a big difference with hand fatigue. I do find myself using the turbo feature quite often, but I don't think that's a reflection of the wind power, I just have A LOT of leaves. There are 15 oak trees in my yard, so this blower definitely has it's work cut out for it.
As a side note, I now own a mower, blower, trimmer, and pressure washer. Since they're all the same voltage (60) I can swap batteries between the tools as needed, making things super convenient. Just something to consider if you're updating all your yard tools like I did.

Several products I own from Greenworks
It is astoundingly powerful, and 1 charge will last at least a half hour at full throttle! It’s ability to throttle down is a great feature in close quarters. and eliminates blowing away your mulch/pine bark bed covering. I also have the 60v mower sharing the same battery and charger; and, to boot, I have your ac operated power washer, and that is on my 5th season of use! All great time and energy saving products....my energy that is.... and I’m 82 years old and can manage the tools easily!

Excellent Product.
Very happy with this purchase. I had been using the 40v small blower and this thing literally blows it away. With TURBO I can clear my front yard in about 5 minutes. Really happy with the performance and price. The extra battery is great for my new mower as well to have some extra juice when needed. I use turbo almost the entire time and will get about 20minutes out of the 2.5ah battery. Haven't tried it with my 5ah battery yet, but I really don't need much more time than that at my home.

When you open the Box, the first thing you notice about the 60v Brushless Blower is that, it is durable, rugged in design, and beefy enough to deliver significant velocity. Which, it DOES ! This is my 2nd Greenworks 60v Tool; their system makes it easy to switch quickly between tools, and having used other battery blowers, you’ll be glad you chose the Greenworks 60v Blower. It sees daily use around my home. A Tip: pick up an extra Battery ! You’ll be glad you did for longer projects.

This thing Blows (in a good way)
My review may be a bit premature as I don't have much real world experience, yet. I have used it to blow snow, and for that it works well. My only complaint, and it's not enough to cost a star, would be lack of mounting options. I'd gladly pay a few more bucks to have a plastic mount in which to slide the unit for hanging on the wall (in case Greenworks is listenening). Otherwise, I'm all in on Greenworks. I already had the string trimmer and am looking at the chainsaw next.

Very Impressed!
I purchased this tool to replace a backpack gas blower and an electric one that required a cord. The 60v blower does not disappoint. It is so easy to use, I find myself using it much more often than I ever used the gas and corded ones I had. One of the nicest things is being able to carry it though the house to blow off the front porch. My old options required me to walk around outside to either plug in or fire up the gas unit that was much louder and difficult to start.
