Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed Not sure why there isn't a single drop of chain lubricant included with the pole saw. Send a bit ridiculous, and nowhere does it say you need to get a separate bottle in any tool description

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Bar and Chain Oil It's just bar and chain oil. It pours out of the bottle just fine once the cap is removed. Fills the chainsaw oil fill to the proper level. So I guess it works just fine to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bar lubricant I just bought a new Greenworks Chain Saw and needed some bar lubricant. This was the best buy I could find and it serves the purpose well. I would recommend this bar lubricant to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent oil This oil lasts much longer on my pole saw vs the stuff from the major hardware stores (about 4x longer) yes it costs more but is definitely worth the price. Will be only using this from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What? No oil? The oil is fine. But why didn't it come with the saw? At the very least, why didn't the advertisement information for the saw indicate that the oil was required and not included?? Just like all of the other reviewers, I had to wait a week and a half to get the oil in order to use the saw; no store near me carries it, so I had to order it from Greenworks. It is inexcusable that it is not included with the saw.

I just got a 18 inch chainsaw and it came with a small bottle of bar oil. The oil was clear which seemed strange. Can I just use standard bar oil from the hardware store? I see several others asking same question. But, you are out of stock of the qt

How much bar oil does a chainsaw go through? I ran mine for far less than a full charge and the reservoir was half empty.

Asked by: TripleNickel
Hello TripleNickel, The amount of oil the saw uses varies depending on the model and use. The oil level should be checked after every 20 minutes of use and refilled as needed to the oil reservoir tank.

I have a 40 v chainsaw, the bar oiler doesn't seem to be working. I get no splatter when I test it and the chain is dry. I use standard chain oil, have cleaned the saw dust out of the oil port behind the bar and still nothing. Should I flush the system?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello Anonymous, After adding bar and chain oil, the chainsaw needs to run for a few minutes to expel the air in the lines before oil comes through. Simply run the unit for a few minutes. Allow the oil to come out before use. You can also try loosening the oil cap to release any vacuum that may have built up. My previous question pertaining my new lawn mower should indicate Model M060L514, sorry for confusion, was not sure my mower would require to be lubricated. Thank you

Asked by: Jaguars
Hello Jaguars, Minimum care is required to ensure smooth operation of your mower. For best results, regularly apply lubricant to mower’s cutting surface, upper handle and wheels and ensure the mower can be pushed easily. Lubricate the axle and pinion with a light film of wheel bearing grease.
