Bar and Chain Lubricant
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Why no oil included? I just got my saw and was planning on putting it to work first thing tomorrow morning. But with not even a drop of oil included I have to hold off. If the Greenworks brand is so important, why not include at least enough to fill it once? That would make the order fulfillment time less critical.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great chainsaw This is a great chainsaw Battery is strong. Cuts like a knife through warm butter. My only gripe - Greenworks should have included a quart of the lubricant with the saw. I had to wait 8 days to use the saw whille awaitng the separatley ordered (and additional ocst) chail lubricant from Greenworks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs to be available in stores for purchase. Great lubricating bar and chain oil high quality, the only issue I have is my new 80 volt green works pole saw came with no green works lubricant in the box so I had to buy another brand of oil tell my green works chain oil was delivered from the manufacturer which I had to purchase separate you cannot buy green works bar and chain oil anywhere but the manufacturer that is not cool,I really loved how the green works oil performed it is a high quality lubricant that I feel performed better than the oil I had to purchase to use tell my green works oil arrived, green works needs to get it in stores so it is available to purchase when you need it,I did not like waiting for a bottle of chain oil.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use greenworks Premium Lube For Better Performance I have several greenworks electric chainsaws. I started using another brand of bar lubricant my brother had fo rhis gas chainsaw and that was a bad idea. The chain's performance (i.e. doesn't come off as much) is better with gw's lube.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What? No oil? The oil is fine. But why didn't it come with the saw? At the very least, why didn't the advertisement information for the saw indicate that the oil was required and not included?? Just like all of the other reviewers, I had to wait a week and a half to get the oil in order to use the saw; no store near me carries it, so I had to order it from Greenworks. It is inexcusable that it is not included with the saw.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great oil, great chainsaw, why not sell together? Really like the products, still baffles me that the saw didn't come with oil. Bought at Lowes, the epitome of the "I need to use it today", store. And no oil, should be happy when you purchase something cool like a chainsaw, not angry when you realize you cant use it to cut down the giant tree that fell in your yard.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No lubricant include Great tool! However, I saw other reviewers complaints about no lubricants included and had to wait for another 8 days to get delivered in another order! Customer service responded two years ago and promised to make a change! Two year passed now, nothing changed and I am complaining about the same thing!

My previous question pertaining my new lawn mower should indicate Model M060L514, sorry for confusion, was not sure my mower would require to be lubricated. Thank you

Asked by: Jaguars
Hello Jaguars, Minimum care is required to ensure smooth operation of your mower. For best results, regularly apply lubricant to mower’s cutting surface, upper handle and wheels and ensure the mower can be pushed easily. Lubricate the axle and pinion with a light film of wheel bearing grease.

How often is lubricant required, and exactly what and where do I lubricate? Thanks

Hello Jaguars, The level should also be checked after every 10 minutes of use and refilled as needed to the oil reservoir tank.

The guy at Lowes actually showed response from your technical folks saying your Lube and Chain was 30 wt oil... Why would they say that and then on a recent question you say not to use 30 wt oil..half your questions is on lube and chain oil. confusing..

Asked by: hdjj4
Hello hdjj4, We're sorry for the confusion. The unit requires bar and chain oil at 30 wt.

Since your Greenworks Premium Bar & Chain Oil is not available at the stores that sell Greenworks Chain Saws please confirm what type grade oil the Greenworks Premium Bar & Chain Oil is. The guy at Lowes said it was SAE 30 WT motor oil. Is that correct?

Asked by: hdjj4
Hello HJT, We would advise against using SAE 30 WT motor oil with our chainsaw products and would recommend that only bar and chain oil be used. We have now stock of this Premium Bar & Chain Oil available online. Follow the link here to purchase this item online: https://www.greenworkstools.com/bar-and-chain-lubricant.
