Required parts.
My saw had a recall. These parts were required to repair the issue. The parts were free, the delivery was quick and the installation was simple. What's not to like?

Easy to install
Unfortunately it did not fix what was wrong but it was easy to put on and I’m about to install one on my other one

So does this chain brake work on the Kobalt 80V model that was recalled also? And if its just the chain brake (regardless of model) its not going to effect the switch (like some sites reports say) right? If I want to kill a chainsaw I let go the switch!
No where on your site to I see a Kobalt chain brake repair kit like that of the Greenwork's, do you have a link or item number or something?

I have an 80V chainsaw, model number GCS80420. I never heard of a recall for the chain brake. Was I supposed to get a notice? The reason I went to your website is that I need the two lock nuts for the chain cover. Somehow I've replaced them.
Hello there,
While there was a recall on this model chainsaw, not all chainsaws have been recall as it depends on the date of manufacture on the chainsaw serial number. Please contact our toll-free line at 1-888-266-7096 so we can verify if you chainsaw lies within the recall. We can also assist with two lock nuts for the chain cover.
