Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I bought this machine because I couldn’t start a regular lawnmower and I love it I’ve had it for nearly two years and I’ve not had one problem I would buy again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and powerful I have a large lawn that I use a tractor for. But there are several places that are inconvenient for a large tractor. This is a perfect small machine. I also love not having to pull a cord to start a mower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best! I've had this baby since 2017. Very little maintenance needed. I'm done forever with gas powered mowers. Done. For the past three years I've had so much peace of mind, knowing that all it takes is a push of a button and off I go. No more fumes, oil changing, gas tank filling, part changes... done. After three years all I need now is a new blade. That's it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stronger than it looks! Since I already had a lawn care service, I only planned to use this mower a few times a year whenever heavy rains caused the grass to grow higher than usual. After two different lawn services left my back gate open, I decided to mow the backyard myself. This mower has been going strong for almost 5 years of heavy use! The blades have stood up to all types of abuse. I even used it 2-3 times a year to mulch small tree branches and shrub trimmings(not recommending anyone try this but it does work). If my dogs hadn't chewed up the power adapter/cabling to this mower, I would have kept it forever.

I accidentally cut my extension cord and need to get a new one for this exact model. Bought two new Cords neither work. What exact type of cord do l need to buy (heavy/medium/light duty) plus what gauge and amp will work on this 16amp 10 gauge mower?

Asked by: Lc92
Hello Lc92, Depending on the length of extension cord required it should fall within these specifications: A 100’ (30 m) extension cord should be 14 AWG, a 50’ (15 m) extension cord should be 16 AWG, and a 150’ (45 m) extension cord should be 12 AWG. Undersized cords cause a drop in the line voltage, which leads to a loss of power and overheating. Here are a few other suggestions to check: 1) That you are using a working outlet. 2) When starting the lawnmower, start by pressing and holding the start button down for ~3 seconds then while still holding the start button down pull back the bail lever towards the handle with your opposite hand. Once the unit has started, you can release the start button and simply hold back the bail for continued operation.

I am on my second 10 amp corded 16" Lawn mower. The first one was returned because it was cutting deeper on the right side. I received the second one and still having the same problem. Has anyone had this problem?

Asked by: JMFL
Hello JMFL, We are sorry to hear about this experience. When the lawn is being cut uneven, this can indicate a few different things. The first being that the lawn itself is rough or uneven. However, if this is not the case then it is possible that the grass is too tall, or the cutting height is set too low for the type of grass. Try raising the cutting height and reduce walking speed in order to allow for a more effective cut and a proper discharge of the clippings. For a healthy lawn, always cut off one-third or less of the total length of the grass. The average lawn should be approximately 1 1/2 to 2” (3.8 to 5 cm) long during cool months, and between 2" to 3 1/4" (5 cm to 8.3 cm) long during hot months. If you have tried these suggestions, try having a look underneath of the mower deck and ensure that there has been no damage to the motor shaft, fan, blade, blade washer/insulator or the bolt. If any of these parts have been damaged or thrown off balance this will result in an even cut and likely, a noticeable vibration while in use. If this issue persists, please call us at 1-888-909-6757 or via email at info@greenworkstools.com and we would be happy to investigate this issue further with you.

Can any kind of extension cord be used

Asked by: Meandonlyme
Hello Meandonlyme, When using an extension cord, be sure to use one of heavy enough gauge to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause overheating. The extension cord you purchase for this product must fall within these specifications: For a 50' (15 m) cord, use 16 AWG. For a 100' (30 m) cord, use 14 AWG. For a 150' (45 m) cord, use 12 AWG. More information can be found inside the owner's manual.

Asked by: lawncutter
The chart below show's the length of extension cords and the corresponding acceptable cord ratings. For a 50' (15 m) cord, use 16 AWG. For a 100' (30 m) cord, use 14 AWG. For a 150' (45 m) cord, use 12 AWG. Use only a CSA or equivalent agency listed extension cord that is approved for outdoor use

I posted a question earlier about not being able to tighten the cams. Correction - I can't tighten the quick release levers at the bottom of the handle. Troubleshooting tips? This is a new mower so I am at the assembly stage.

I just purchased this lawnmower and I can't get one of the cams to tighten. How do I troubleshoot?

Asked by: UnusedNickname
I was able to figure it out. Basically I took a wrench and tightened it beyond what I was able to do manually. That took care of the issue. I just assumed it had to be hand tightened but took a chance on the wrench and voila! Either way, thanks for being so responsive!
