How can I Identify My Tool?
Check the bottom side
On batteries and chargers, the label is located underneath the battery or charger on the bottom.
- Remove the battery from charger and/or unplug charger before checking
- Turn it over and inspect the bottom surface.
- Use the model number printed on the bottom label.
Check under the handle or side base
On blowers and backpack blowers, the label may be under the handle or on the side of the base.
- Check underneath the handle first.
- If it is not there, inspect the side of the blower base or housing.
- Use the model number printed on the label.
Check under the handle
On chainsaws, check underneath the main handle area. The warning/name label is shown below the handle on the body of the tool.
- Turn the tool off and remove the battery before checking.
- Look under the handle where the label sits against the tool housing.
- Use the model number printed on that label for parts lookup on the search bar on this page.
Check the side of the base
On cultivators and tillers, the label is located on the side of the unit base.
- Check the lower side housing near the base.
- Look around the area close to the tines and main body.
- Use the model number printed on the side label.
Check the rear flap of the unit
On dethatchers, the label is located on the rear flap of the unit.
- Stand behind the dethatcher and check on the rear flap.
- Use the model number shown on the top label.
Check the plastic guard
On hedge trimmers, the label is located on the plastic guard area.
- Look near the guard between the handle and blade area.
- Check the visible plastic housing around the guard.
- Use the model number printed on that label.
Check the back flap area
On lawn mowers, the label is located near the rear back flap area of the mower.
- Stand behind the mower and check around the rear flap.
- Remove battery safer side before checking
- Use the model number shown on the rear label.
Check the side of the base
On pressure washers, the label is located on the side of the base near the lower frame/body of the unit.
- Check both side panels near the base.
- Look around the lower housing, close to the wheels or frame.
- Use the model number printed on the side label.
Check the back near the bottom
On robotic mowers, the label is located at the back near the bottom of the unit below the handle.
- Check the rear side of the robotic mower.
- Look near the lower back section below the handle.
- Use the model number printed on the rear label.
Check the bottom or inside flap
On robotic vacuums, the label may be on the bottom of the unit or inside the unit under the flap/filter.
- First check the bottom of the robotic vacuum.
- If not visible, open the flap/filter area and check inside.
- Use the model number printed on that label.
Check behind the unit below the chute on snow throwers / Check the back bottom base for snow shovels
On snow throwers, the label is located behind the unit below the chute area.
On snow shovels, the label is located on the back of the unit near the bottom base.
- Use the model number printed on that rear label.
Remove the filter on the handle
On stick vacs, remove the filter on the handle to view the label location.
- Check the handle area.
- Remove the filter as shown to access the label.
- Use the model number printed inside that handle/filter area.
Check under the handle or pole
On string trimmers and edgers, the label may be under the handle or on a black label attached to the pole.
- Check directly below the handle first.
- If you do not see it there, inspect the pole for a black label.
- Use the model number printed on the handle or pole label.
Check the top below the handle
On wet/dry vacs, the label is located on top of the unit below the handle.
- Check the top lid area of the vac.
- Look directly below or near the carry handle.
- Use the model number printed on the top label.
