Rated 5 out of 5 by from 19 inch lawn mower This mower is fantastic! I spent 6 weeks with a lovingly refurbished (by a family member) gas guzzler that taxed the expandability of my very short arms. In short, it never wanted to start and always died halfway through a lawn. Now I don't have to risk the possibility of a dislocated shoulder every time I want to mow. The battery lasts 1.5 front and back mowing sessions. That's fine with me. I'd rather wait for the battery to recharge than act like a crazy yo-yo trying to start the other one. I love this mower!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful Lightweight and long battery life I purchased about two months ago after months of research on diff types of mowers. This one fit all the criteria of powerful, lightweight and big battery for longer run time. I’ve never had a battery operated mower and I was a little skeptical But I tell you the truth when I say this is everything it’s supposed to be and more. It mulche the grass so well I hardly spent any time blowing off the driveway. Am 62 and healthy but have a back issue and can’t push a heavy mower and I had NO problem pushing this one up my incline in the front yard. Starts right up and is comfortable on the hands. Turns around easy and cuts close to trees or poles. It also gives you a little more power if needed in thicker areas. So far it’s great. And the price was great for my budget! Thank you! I will review again in a few months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Battery Powered Mower Decided to finally move to a battery powered mower and this Pro 60v 19” model has been perfect. Does well on both Bermuda and Zoysia grass types. No problems with battery life on a 3500 sqft yard. Just easily loosen the bolts with knobs and the handle leans forward so that it easily fits in my 3’x5’ shed. The only quibble I would have is the sharp loud cracking noise when removing the battery as it sounds as if the plastic holding the battery broke/cracked. But so far, so good.

I have a Greenworks cultivator with a 40 volt battery. Is your 60 volt battery compatible with my battery for charging and will it fit in the cultivator's battery receptacle?

Asked by: Ricci
Hello Ricci, Unfortunately, batteries are only compatible with tools in the same voltage line. Your 40V cultivator is only compatible with 40V batteries.

Can you assure me this mower won't leave an inch or two of grass to clean out under the deck each time I cut the grass? My current corded mower does this. I want a battery mower that does not have grass to remove under the mower after each use.

Asked by: sunshine100
Hello sunshine100, When grass clippings building up more than usual under your mower deck this is often due to moisture. Excess moisture causes the grass to clump, making it more likely to stick to the underside of the deck. For caked-on grass, use a scraper to get rid of the grass, and then you can use a damp cloth to wipe off any loose pieces. Finish by wiping with a dry cloth and spraying lightly with lawnmower deck spray.

How are the mulching and side discharge options different for this mower? Is one better than the other for general mowing? Is mulching mainly used for leaves in the Fall?

Asked by: sunshine100
Hello Sunshine100, When mulching, you must close the side discharge door and the grass will simply cut and mulch underneath the deck, not shooting the grass out of a specific chute. However, when utilizing the side discharge chute, grass expels out of the side of the unit. Mulching will cut the clippings into smaller pieces compared to using the side discharge but they ultimately have a similar result. Both features leave the clippings on the lawn allowing the nutrients and nitrogen contained within them to return to the soil and allow the remaining grass to recycle them. If using the side discharge, always discharge the clippings towards a previously cut area to prevent your mower from bogging down.
