CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Convenient For years I have used a corded hedge trimmer to keep my English ivy under control. This year the warmer and wetter climate have caused the ivy to surge in growth. Getting the heavy duty power cord out at least weekly is time consuming and a real pain. This trimmer works better than my old corded one and saves me time and aggravation - and it is safer. I trim my ivy more frequently and my yard looks better kept for it. Power and duration are excellent. I'm very happy. I own 5 GW power tools having made the decision to "go battery" 3 years ago. Trimmer, pole pruner, hedge clippers, chain saw & blower. All have met expectations. I have 2 - 80v and 3 - 60v. I have a wooded homesite so there is always something that needs blowing, trimming or cutting. I have no regrets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from trimmer head moves during cutting The cutter worked great and the battery lasts a long time. I already had a string trimmer and wanted a similar batter unit for a second battery. The product was easy to assemble and worked great at first. However, when I hit a larger stem, the head moved from it's angle position and I had to prepare for it or the trimmer would have dove into the bush or hedge I was trying to cut level. I don't know if there is an issue where the pin isn't locking well into the hole that holds the angle in place or if there is damage to the pin. I haven't contacted customer service yet, as I am still able to use the tool to do my work. When finished, I will contact them and see what the issue is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love this trimmer! My wife and I researched every cordless trimmer on the market before deciding on this wonderful trimmer. For her, it had to be cordless, lightweight and cut easily. For me, it had to be powerful, versatile and efficient. She tried it on several small bushes around our house and was super surprised how fast she trimmed them without any fatigue. The true test for me was trimming our 10' evergreens next to our house. Because of its long cutting length, I didn't have to reach in too far in some tight spaces around the evergreens. It made cutting a breeze. We both give this trimmer two thumbs up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a great upgrade! I am not the skilled yard maintainer, and I have used minimal tools for a long time> I had a small scale hedger trimmer of a different brand and that worked a kind of without cutting through the branches I would have liked to cut, to my fortune or misfortune its battery could not recharged anymore, so I bought the 60V Greenworks hedge trimmer. SUCH A CHANGE! Cutting my unruly bushes seems so easy now. I like the long blade and the power the machine has. The only drawback is that it weighs more than my retired machine. I like this new powerful trimmer and will certainly keep my bushes in shape ;-)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great idea, poor performance for medium duty Great idea, poor design using plastic, 60 V plenty of energy, cuts great, pole should be 12" longer, Plastic twist connection clamp continually disconnects the power- a major pain; a SINGLE set screw between wimpy plastic ears inside the lower housing keeps the cutter from rotating, that is until you cut something more than a small green weed. Forced to correct since the warranty does not cover their design, I added a hose clamp above the set screw since the plastic ears were broken, then drilled and inserted 3, 3/4" set screws. Works like a camp now. Will likely engineer an extension later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful but a bit heavy I bought 60V hedge trimmer with a 2ah battery. Coming from a 18V trimmer, this Greenworks product is way more powerful, but I have to say this added power comes with a price - 50% more money and much heavier. I can deal with that extra weight, although after 30min you feel the difference. My wife has an excuse now...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Trimmer! (and other tools) This is the 3rd of the Greenworks 60v tools I have bought this year, needless to say, I am VERY impressed! I now have the "self line feeding" 60v weed eater, the 60v blower, and this 60v hedge trimmer. They have made yard work so much quicker, easier, and hassle free... such a HUGE difference! I highly recommend this (and the others) tool, they have made my life here in the "long growing season" South much, much easier!
