Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Power but Lousy Battery Life Bought this from Lowes on 11/24/17 to replace a gas powered leaf blower that died after 10 years of use. While this blower does a great job, the battery life is horrible. After charging it for the first time, the battery ran out of power after 10 minutes running it on cruise control. After the second charge, it ran for about 15 minutes. I ended up raking my front yard with a rake by hand quicker than I would have with this leaf blower. I would advise anybody buying this product to get a second battery. Unfortunately a second battery costs as much as the leaf blower, battery charger and battery combined. I plan on returning this product to Lowes and purchasing a gas powered unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing power and extremely quiet (for a blower) I bought this as a bare tool, since I have batteries from my other Greenworks tools. I was replacing my 40V Greenworks blower, which was pretty good for a lightweight, battery powered blower. This thing literally and figuratively blows that one away. I get quite a long run time with this blower (I haven't timed it, but I only charge the battery about once a month after many uses). What amazes me is that I can use it to blow the rocks out of my grass where my desert landscaping joins my lawn. It blows rocks out of my yard! I love the variable speed trigger, and the trigger lock is great for longer jobs as well. This is a great addition to my other Greenworks 60 Volt tools.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very powerful!! I was given this blower as a gift. I already had a 40v cordless blower. This 60v blower is VERY powerful, a little heavier than my 40v because the battery is twice as big...but it's still very easy to use. It's not, however, quiet as listed. Lol. What I'm not happy about is the battery life. I fully charged the battery before the first use and then only used it to blow out my garage and driveway. This took only 10 minutes and then I checked the battery and it was down by 50% after such a short time. Other than the battery life, this is a powerful blower and works very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine This blower works great. It is easy to assemble and extremely easy to operate. In the past I have used a gas powered blower, and the power generated by this blower is very comparable. However like all battery machines, the lifespan of a single charge is quite short. To fix that problem, I purchased another battery so I am able to swap out the batteries to finish the job. The price is slightly more expensive than other gas blowers, but the extra value is worth the quality in my opinion. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 15 Min Battery life LONG charging times LOW CFM Bought this at lowe's for 190$ after tax much cheaper than this pages price. i'm disappointed in the reviews which have to be lying.. The blower is not good at all it's made below average in my opinion. The speed control is a stupid feature with a flimsy piece of plastic. Why would you need cruise control anyways if you set it too full speed ahead it would die in 10 mins how do I know? Because I ran it on full speed in burst to get some leaves out of my driveway and yard and it lasted 15 mins... and it charged for over 1 hour to get full battery. So it took me 3 hours of charging and 45 mins of blowing to not even complete the job I was so mad I returned it to lowe's the next day. I just ordered the new 80v with battery and charger on amazon for 180$ after tax MUCH CHEAPER than this websites "special" sale price. I am really disappointed though and i'm hoping this 80v can make me a loyal green works customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful I highly recommend this tool. As a new homeowner I have been in the market for yard tools. Tried one of these battery powered tools. Awesome choice. The blower has great power to push debris of my driveway and porch. Ergonomics is great for the tool. I bet it will save money in the long run and seems like less maintenance and is probably good for the environment(battery waste, but less gas). I am impressed by the amount of power that these battery operated tools can produce and I think they put out just as much power as gas tools that I have used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from uses for a leaf blower I bought this blower a year ago. The only the only problem I have had is finding new uses for it. The list keeps growing and seems to be limited only by ones imagination. It is not only great for herding the fall leaves into manageable piles and cleaning up the driveway but I use it to dry items after washing, clear snow off cars, blow grass clippings from unwanted places, dry patio tables and chairs after rain, clear woodland trails of pine needles and cones and scare the heck out of the chipmunks in the process....you get the idea. What a great tool and its fun to use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish it worked I bought this blower at Lowes one year ago. My wife and I used it only a few times in 2018. This season though, the battery wouldn't take a charge. After calling Greenworks I was sent another battery which also failed. Now I'm waiting on another 60V battery pack. The store won't take any Outdoor Power Equipment back after 30 days. I have a Greenworks cordless mower and a 40 volt hedge trimmer that work fantastic! I had to buy a different blower in the meantime because I have no guarantees that I will get the 60Pro blower working. I'm out the money because of a faulty product in my view.

Hello. I really like my Pro 60V, but I find when I use it for more than about 10 minutes, it shuts off. After about an hour, it works again. I'm assuming that this is because the battery heats up. Is this correct? Any suggestions?

Asked by: RobinMaryland
Hello RobinMaryland, We would advise advise that you check to ensure the battery is fully seated into the battery compartment on the blower. Check to see if the battery is warm after use if it is this may be the issue. However, it should not be the case. Please contact support at 1-888-909-6757 or by email to info@greenworkstools.com for further assistance.

I left mine in the rain. Can I put battery on charger before dries

Asked by: Kimmi
Hello Kimmi, No, if the unit or the battery has been left exposed to the rain it will likely be damaged and unusable. We recommend that you purchase a replacement for both the unit and battery to avoid any safety and electrical issues that the water exposure may have caused.

I am interested in a second battery for this blower. I was wondering if an 80 volt battery would be compatable. I understand I would have to purchase a different charger but would an 80v be too strong?

Asked by: AbbeyBauman
Hello AbbeyBauman Thank you for your question. 60v unit cannot be used with an 80v battery and vice versa. GreenWorks manufactures a range of voltage platforms from 24v - 80v, each voltage platform has its own set of interchangeable tools and battery but are not interchangeable across different voltage platforms. Should you have any further questions or warranty needs, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS) or by email on info@greenworkstools.com. We have a very dedicated customer support team here to help you in any way we can.
