I bought a lawnmower last year that uses a PRO 60V 5.0 AH HC BATTERY, I have tried to purchase a second batter sine then but it is always Out of Stock. What gives? I saw it was out of stock during a sale so I lost out on saving a few dollars.

Hi I have a Greenworks lawnmower that came with one 60v 5ah battery. The mower has two ports. So I would like to get another battery. 60v 5ah is hard to find can I use any other 60v _ah at the same time?

Asked by: Amy60
Hello Amy60, Yes, you may! All Greenworks 60V battery models can be used with all Greenworks 60V tools. The higher the ampere-hour (Ah) rating is on the battery, the more run time it has to offer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Battery to Extend Runtime! I was so glad to find these 60v 5ah batteries back in stock so jumped on it quickly. It charged right up out the box like a champ. This will be the perfect companion to the 60v 5ah battery that came with my mower - 10ah total should get the job done! Also, having the flexibility to use with my blower and trimmer for bigger jobs is an added bonus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid The battery works as expected. When paired with a second battery of the same amo hours and voltage, I get over an hour of tough mowing time on my 60V self-propelled mower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So grateful for this MAX battery We just moved into a new home we had built and after previous experience with traditional gas lawn mowers I made the executive decision for the family to go battery powered. For multiple reason, of which I won't go into here. This 5.0 battery is AMAZING. My husband (and 13 year old son) can do both the front and backyard on 1 charge. I was extremely skeptical about that claim but it is legitimate. Our yard really isn't all that big (though it is decently sized) so I don't know how it would do on a bigger yard than ours, sorry I do not know square footage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine if you have multiple batteries. For mowing, unless you have an extremely small yard, you'll need multiple batteries. My property has 1/2 acre of grass. It takes 5 to 6 complete charges to mow it all. I have multiple batteries (all brand new) and split the job up over two days to allow for recharging time. Eventually I'll buy more batteries so I can do it all at once, but I'll need at least six. Also, recharging takes longer than advertised when you factor in the time for the battery to cool down before the charger will charge it. Let it cool before you put it on the charger, because once the charger decides it's too hot, it simply will not start charging it until you take it off, let it cool and put it back. I put the batteries under a fan to cool them quicker. GW says they're introducing a fast charger this month, so hopefully that will speed things up. Tip: When mowing, you might think you're saving battery life by stopping and restarting the motor, for example when moving from the front yard to the back. Don't. Leave it running. The drain during restart is a lot higher than when the motor is just idling. On mine, each time I restart the motor takes another bar off the battery indicator.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great! I bought an electric lawn mower for the first time, and this purchase is a 2nd battery for it. The mower works great and is quiet, the batteries hold a good charge. Now I just hope it lasts a long time, and I will be ecstatic! One complaint: The charger is a bit loud when recharging the batteries so you will want a garage or someplace you can stick it where it will not be a nuisance!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Large battery capacity The 5ah greenworks 60V is a beast of a battery. With it's large number of battery cells and watt hour rating, I keep these puppies for my larger amp drawing tools; I have the mower, chainsaw, wet/dry vac, and hybrid pressure washer. Works phenomenally well with weight vs capacity in these tools. Also charging these with solar, can be accomplished with a 1200 watt inverter ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of the line for all your power needs This is the battery to own. Rather than buying several lower amp hour batteries, you can own a couple of these and keep your Greenworks tools running longer between charges. It might be more investment upfront but it also means fewer charges in between and longer running times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro 60V 5.0 Ah HC Battery This battery gets it done and then some. It has enough juice to cut my whole yard and still has one block of charge left in case I need it for another job. It’s a must have battery for the Pro 60v tools. #GoGreenWithGreenworkstools
