QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What is the difference btwn model 2200702 vs model 2210502AZ? Both are 80V Pro 26 inch. One notes magnesium "heavy use" gear box with a smaller 3/4" cut capacity. The other notes a larger 1.2" cut capacity but no note on construction. Other Differences?

Asked by: cclpcpc
Hello cclpcpc, While fairly similar, there are a couple of differences between these units. 2210502AZ is a newer model with a few internal tweaks such as gearbox improvements, PCBA improvements etc. 2200702 is the first generation.

Can this (or any) hedge trimmer be used with a 4ah battery?

Asked by: ERH45
Hello ERH45, Yes, it can be used with all GreenWorks 80v batteries including the 4.0Ah battery. However, it will add to the weight of the unit as the 4.0Ah battery is heavier than the recommended 2.0Ah battery.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Changing my landscape company from gas to Greenworks I have owned and operated a successful lawn and landscape company in the Charlotte, NC area for the past 13 years. I never thought I would see the day where I would ever trade in my gas-powered equipment for battery-powered but at this point with what Greenworks has brought to the table, I would be a fool not to. For more info, check out the detailed review I did and field testing on an overgrown fence line below.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice looking tool, same weight as my gas trimmer nice looking tool. hasn't been put through it's paces as i bought it on sale in the winter. Bought because i am converting all my gas powered equipment to electric and the greenworks system is the one i chose. Using the mower, blower, weed trimmer and chainsaw i have had to major complaints. the subtraction of a star comes from the confusion of how they call this a 26 inch bar... i measure it at 24.
