Hello I have Greenworks 18-Inch 10 Amp Corded String Trimmer 21142 and need to find a replacement spool and cover before the one I have wears out. I purchased it in July of 2018. Thanks

I have a 29402 trimmer attachment. Will this fit my trimmer? Can you tell me what will fit?

GWT1390520 05/19/14 It's a black spool. There is a green plastic knob on the bottom that locks the spool in place.

I have the newer model 21142 with the reusable spool, but the plastic bumper knob has worn completely off, rendering it useless. How can I get a replacement spool? The manual references parts # 3, model # 31108836 on the spool. Thanks.

I am in need of one of these for my 21142 Weed Wacker and I cant find one anywhere when will they be instock

Asked by: cody1645
Hello cody1645, Please be advised this replacement spool is only compatible our older style 21142 that has a green bump knob. It is not compatible with the newer units. The new units can use trimmer line at .080" in diameter to rewind existing spool. Please view the below guide for the newer models: https://youtu.be/uAgKchFx-_Q

Where can I buy this product? I need it for my 21142 trimmer.

Asked by: Sehato
Hello Sehato, Stock is expected at the end of the month. However, this replacement spool is only compatible with the models that has a green bump knob. Your unit depending on age may have a different design that no longer uses a spool replacement. If you have the newer model you would simply purchase trimmer line at .080" in diameter and rewind the existing spool yourself. Here's a link to a video guide on how this is done: https://youtu.be/uAgKchFx-_Q
