QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
If my mower came with a 60 volt 4.0 battery can I use any other battery? Like 2.0?
Hello v,
Yes, you can use all batteries in the GreenWorks 60v line. However, the higher the amp hour the more runtime a battery provides.

When will any of your 4ah, 5ah, or 6ah 60V batteries be in stock? I want to outfit two of my cutting crews to your 60V products but I cannot do that without more batteries.

It's January, and this battery still isn't in stock. Is there a new ETA, and are you prepared to meet the high demand for them since they've been out of stock for a very long time?
Hello AaronTN,
Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns! We are experiencing higher thank normal order processing delays due to COVID protocols and limited staff. We are expecting them to come in soon. They can be viewed using the following link: https://www.greenworkstools.com/shop-by-voltage?cat=49. In the meantime, you may enter your email into the appropriate field on the battery pages so that you can be notified as soon as the stock has been replenished

How do you remove the 60v 4.0 battery from its charger. Mine seems stuck. Thank you.
The battery does require a firm pull to release. If the battery has been properly aligned with the rails on the charger you should be able to remove it without issues. If you have a difficulty pull it from the top, try pushing it from the bottom up. I hope this help!

My battery won’t charge, it would let me wiggle it a little until it would hold but now it just sounds like it’s going to charge but won’t
Hello Csal,
We're sorry for your troubles with charging your battery. Here are some tips:
If the charger has been left plugged into the outlet for some time make sure to unplug it to reset it. It may take a few resets. Once the charger is ready, make sure to align the battery and the charger correctly. Slide the battery in for a full connection. The fan should turn on if you're using a rapid charger. The charger will blink green to charge and a solid green when the battery is fully charged.
If you continue to have issues charging your battery, please contact us through our contact page here:

What is the weight difference between the 2, 4, and 5ah 60v pro batteries ?
Hello Charged,
The amp hour (Ah) is what determines the runtime. The higher the Ah the more runtime a battery will provide.

Great Charge Capacity
I bought this 6 weeks ago and to my surprise it had a much longer charge capacity to not only go through normal operation but much needed extra-oomph for few seconds during the yard work. I’m impressed by performance as well as features on battery pack showing charge indicator. Not to mention overall it appears to be Solid Build Product. The initial cost is high, but versatility of 60v tools available overall it’s quite affordable.

Changed tools to Greenworks
I am a manager or properties
as the battery technology has greatly improved. I have changed gas mowers, trimmer n blowers to battery ..Greenworks
Not only is the power outstanding . The main reason for change was noise reduction around restaurants amd guestrooms.
Defect reduction is key in today's world of social media.

Quick charge and lasts long enough!
I understand there are limitations to how long a battery can last, but I didn’t think it would last long enough to get through my yard work without having to stop to recharge. Honestly, there’s not a lot of charge left when I’m done, but there’s enough to complete the job and not get interrupted by a dead battery. Even when I go to charge it, it’s ready to go again pretty quickly.

Plenty of power to get through most chores
I have several 60V yard tools, including the mower, blower, and edger, and the 4.0AH battery provides enough power to mow and edge my yard without changing out batteries (for reference, I have a .75 acre lot with an inground pool, which takes me about 30 minutes to mow). I bought a second 4.0AH battery because the standard 2.0AH ones that come with most of the tools don't provide enough run time in the fall when using the blower, which consumes a lot of power quickly.

60 volt, 4.0 Ah HC battery
Even with the sale price it was a little spendy but I know what they cost when I bought the mower so no big deal. It's nice now that I can mow until it switches to the next battery and then recharge the spent one. Having two batteries means no worrying about running out of juice before the yard is done.

Battery life
I bought the mower over a year ago and am very unhappy with it. I have to charge & recharge my battery atleast 3 times in order to finish my lawn in a day. And charging takes like 3 hours each charge. Not to mention my mower got easily rusted on bottom & paint is peeling off.
