Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great to have a charger again. Shipping felt a little slow, but I'm thrilled to finally have a charger again after losing the one that originally came with my leaf blower. I can now create massive piles of leaves again. :D

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blower and weed eater work great. Easy to load string. I bought this three years ago. It was a package deal from Costco and after reading all the reviews I was excited to give it a try. From day one the batteries never lasted more than 30-35 minutes in medium grasses and just blowing off the patios and decks. My big disappointment is the batteries and charger. I now get only up to 20-22 minutes per battery use. For a long time now the batteries only charge to two lights and the one battery must be watched as the charger will run indefinitely without shutting off. The charger is intermittent and sometimes I get a red light and leave it for an. hour or so before it will charge again. I from day one am one that never stores a dead or partially charged battery, always putting them away fully charged. I would estimate my use to be light to moderate as I only do an acre of my three with most of that being mowed. The weed eater is only used during the spring time as my grasses do not reappear until following spring. I do use the blower year round and only lightly then. I'm wondering if a new charger would somehow resurrect my batteries to full charge or improve them some way. I do leave all my batteries (2) and charger inside all of the time. I'm sure there must be better systems out there. I am a strong 80 year old and do some substantial work at least three hours a day and that in no way affects these substandard batteries

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor product - lack of customer support Bought our charger less than a year ago. This charger shows that it has a 4-year warranty. It is for a lawn mower they we very infrequently as we have small lawn area to maintain. Used it today on our home lawn and after three charges the charger stopped, no fan on. I have been on "hold" with the recommended 800 number for support for 33 min and counting and no one is picking up the phone. I don't know how long one should wait on the phone!!!!!!

Hello.I was given a 80v 6ah battery that fits my Greenworks #GBA0400 charger what are the for and cons. Thanks

Asked by: gratien
Hello gratien, The benefit of a higher ampere-hour (Ah) relates to run time. The higher the Ah rating is, the more run time the battery has to offer!

Tried using 80V chainsaw after sitting for the winter. Battery dead. Put into charger, solid red light and no fan. Unplugged and did again, same thing. No lights on the battery itself. Item 1 1/2 years old and used only 4 times.

Asked by: Tkdart
HelloTkdart, We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this product. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, we urge you to contact our customer care using the customer contact page on our website or give us a call at 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS), and we will be happy to assist with the warranty claims process. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and look forward to making it right!

Is there a way of checking if the charger is the problem. 80V lithium charger.

I have a brand new 21" 80v mower. When I plug the battery in, it blinks green, fan on, but only for about 10 seconds. The the light blinks red. It shows one out of three lights on the battery. Could it be that the charger isn't recognizing the battery

Asked by: TVCIOFFI
Hello TVCIOFFI, Typically, a flashing red light indicates a battery issue. Please try resetting the charger by unplugging it for 1 minute and using a different outlet. For further assistance with this matter, please contact us at 1-888-909-6757 or send an email to info@greenworkstools.com.

Double checking on this. Should my charger's fan turn off after the light goes solid green and all three LEDs show green on the battery? I just charged my battery for the first time, and the fan never shut off after 2 hours. When should it?

Asked by: MichaelE
Hello MichaelE, The fan will engage and stay on while the battery is on the charger. This helps the battery to keep cool and avoid overheating.

I have a new unit. When I plug it in, the indicator light on the charger doesn't come on at all (no green/flashing/red light). I've tried unplugging it, replugging it in, moving it to different plug locations, still the same. The charger doesn't come on.

Asked by: patk
Hello patk, This charger will not ignite any lights until the battery is engaged. Once the battery has been properly seated, the light should communicate with the battery and ignite. Here are what each colour light means! Flashing Green = Battery charging Solid Green = Battery is fully charged Flashing Red = Charging fault Solid Red = Battery is either too hot or too cold
