Online Cancellation Policy

At Greenworks, we work hard to get orders sent out in an expedited fashion and attempt to process all orders the day they were placed. Therefore, if you have received a purchase order number confirmation, you will be able to cancel your order from our dashboard up to 30 minutes after the order is placed. If more than 30 minutes have elapsed, it is the customer's responsibility to follow the return policy and ship the item back to our warehouse for a product refund in accordance with our return policy.

If product is refused for delivery, shipping and handling will be deducted from product refund.


Greenworks is not obligated but may apply store credit at our discretion.

We only accept returns and refunds for new and unused parts, please review our policy below.

If you have received damaged or defective product, you can request a replacement item or a refund if requested within 30 days of receiving your product. To start a return click here.

Returns for Damaged, Defective, or Broken Parts

  1. Submit the request through the online return portal within 30 days of the shipment reception to begin the refund process. Indicate whether you are wanting a refund or a replacement item.
  2. It will take between 3 to 5 days to process the request.
  3. You will receive an email with return shipping instructions and will be provided with a return shipping label.
  4. Affix the return shipping label provided to the package and return the original item.
  5. Once we receive the shipment, we will process your refund.

It is important to note, that in order for the refund to be successful, you must include all accessories and items that were included as part of the original shipment delivered to you. Please keep in mind that products must be unused.

 

Returns for Other Reasons

Follow the steps below if you are returning product for one of the following reasons:

  • Better price available
  • Bought by mistake
  • Inaccurate description
  • Item arrived too late
  • No longer needed

Your refund will be processed after your return has been received at our facility and must take place within 30 days of receipt of shipment. Shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
  1. Submit the request through the return portal within 30 days of receipt of shipment.
  2. You will receive an email with return shipping instructions and will be provided with a return shipping label. If you are unable to print the shipping label.
  3. Affix the return shipping label provided to the package and return the original item within 30 days.
  4. Once the shipment has been received by our facility and inspected, we will process your refund, minus shipping costs.

How quickly are orders processed?

At Greenworks, we are committed to sending out orders in a timely manner and make every attempt to process orders the same day they are placed.


When can I expect to receive my refund?

You can expect to receive a refund within two weeks of shipping your package back to us. Timeline estimates are based on the following factors:


  • Shipping time back to our facility once product has been picked up by carrier.
  • Product inspection at our return facility.
  • Refund processing from our financial institution.
Can I change the address to where I want my order to be shipped?

Once an order is placed, the order cannot be modified in anyway, including the shipping address.  The order will need to be cancelled within 30 minutes and reordered with the new shipping address. 


Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?

Because we process orders so quickly, orders can only be cancelled up to 30 minutes after they have been placed.


How do I cancel my order?

Only registered users will be able to Cancel Order because you must sign in and go into “My Account” to initiate the process. Cancelling an order can be done by going to My Account and viewing your Recent Orders. If you are still within the 30 minute cancellation window, you will see an option to cancel your order. If your order has already been processed, that option will no longer be visible, and your order is no longer be eligible for cancellation. And at that point, you will need to follow the return process to receive a refund. If the package is refused and returned to the Distribution Center, return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
