Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth ride and great cut I’ve used the mower about a month now. First, it’s most comfortable seat I’ve ever had for a riding mower. It cuts the grass very evenly and leaves a smooth finish. The batteries have held up as advertised. I have about 2 acres and Have charge to spare when done. Plus the batteries charge back quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More that I could hope for. I highly recommend this mower. If your afraid of switching from gas to electric don’t be.This mower is every bit as powerful as my cub cadet that I used for eighteen years. My yard is nearly two acres. It not only mower the whole yard. I still had a forty eight percent charge left on the batteries when finished. The mower never bogged down at all.By all means buy it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 42" Crossover rider First of all, when I saw this mower in person it was much bigger and beefier than it appeared in pictures! The seat is extremely comfortable, and the steering wheel placement is convenient and out of the way when you get on and off the mower. I love the little cargo bed in back! Fantastic for hauling fertilizer, seed, or plants. I also love the exposed tubing all the way around the mower that makes it easy to tie it down to a trailer for transport. Also, the 2-in receiver in front lets you use this mower to move around a small trailer, or boat! It is so incredibly easy to use, that it makes mowing the lawn actually fun! Love the removable batteries system, and the three dual Port chargers! I mow two yards, and after I'm done with the second one I still have an indicated 83% charge. To think that I'll never have to put gas in it, change the oil, replace a belt, for worry about whether it will start after sitting through the off season, absolutely justifies this purchase. I had to think for quite a while to come up with anything I would change. One minor thing that's not really a problem is, I would rather have a heel toe or two pedal forward and reverse system as opposed to the switch. It's no problem though. If you're thinking about an electric Rider with a good amount of cut, this is the one. I've done all the research for you. You don't want one with lead acid batteries! This has lithium ion batteries just like the electric cars on the road today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Satisfied I purchased this about a month ago and it has exceeded my expectations. The unit is much more rugged than I had expected and the battery life is exceptional. I have 3/4 of an acre where the house sits on a slight hill. The mower easily climbs the hill and navigates the entire yard without any issues. If I use all the batteries, I still have 75% left when finished. I may experiment using less batteries to better utilize their full extent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is better than I expected I bought this about a week ago as a dual purpose secondary mower/carryall. It mows well a really nice looking lawn afterwards and this should be expected being new blades and deck on the first couple mows. My grass is mixed in the areas where it is mostly going to be used city grass ( st augustine, and such) will be great and batteries should last a good long time on this, however I decided to also try it on country grass which has a mix of bahaia and other grasses it did well on this but put a larger load on the mower and at times I slowed down to a crawl. The larger load of course made additional drain on the battery. Our about 3 acres took about 3 charges with just a bit of the rougher areas left to do with our larger mower as it has air ride seat. I figured I could mow all the city grass and have plenty of power left for my dad to use it as his shop transport. One thing to note the chargers draw a hefty amount so make sure they are on an unused circuit or on a large draw one so it does not kick out. Also the time should be about the same for this mower to our larger one since it is faster 60" zero turn vs 42" with a steering wheel. Also when charging make sure to have the units in a well ventilated area as they put off some decent heat. Getting used to a steering wheel also slows me down a bit. I also would have loved an alarm for mowing in reverse rather than holding a button ,it cuts off if you release the button before coming to a complete stop. I hope I answered all of the questions you may have cause these were the questions I had and maybe a few more:) OH and it is super quiet less noise than a good wet/dry vac! Only cons I can really have is that I wish it were available in 50 inch or so and the fact you have to remove the batteries to charge. Another pro is the fact we do not have to change oil in the engine or add gas also worrying about the spindles for the blades is gone though I am sure sooner or later the motors will have to be changed. I keep coming back to the top and adding things. I bought this mower at TSC.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with my 2 acres My 2 acres has some slopes and flat areas. The 6 batteries gives me enough power to mow it. I have side discharge although mulch kit is included. The only frustration is the forward/reverse switch and blade on reverse. I have to press and hold the button to keep the PTO running. It’s easy to accidentally bump the front/reverse switch. I think it should be a lever like shifter of a car. It’ll be more intuitive. Also, the more should not free roll if in area. Be care and remember to put parking break on. As for the seat, I wish it’ll let me slide back more. I’m average height of 5’9” and it feels cramp for my leg to press the accelerator pedal. I especially like the battery design as they are easily removed to charge and can be used in other Greenworks Tools 60v tools. Some other brand has a 1 piece giant battery pack than is hard and heavy to replace. Turn ratio is better than gas powered mower as there is more room in front, without the engine, for the front wheels to turn. My wife enjoys using the mower as an ATV.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arrived with Factory Defects The mower was delivered and it had three serious defects. (1) The mower would go backwards under power even thought my foot was off the accelerator. (2) The parking brake would not engage (3) There was a V15 error message and the app showed a drive motor fault. I'm returning this lemon to Tractor Supply for a full refund

Where can I buy the bagger system for this? How much is it? Why is it not listed on your site? How difficult is it to attach the bagger system and does it have enough suction to not only pick the leaves in fall but also walnuts?

Asked by: Teufel
Hello Teufel, The bagger attachment can be purchased on our site using the following link! https://www.greenworkstools.com/42-residential-riding-mower-bagging-kit. The kit is quite easy to attach using the instructions provided. If using this to gather leaves, it will work pretty effectively but will have a low mulch ratio as they have exited the underdeck quickly. Walnuts likely will not go into the bagger.
