Rated 4 out of 5 by Khall from Impressed on 1st time out Used this snow bower for the first time today on 3.5" of snow. Moved like a champ through the dryer snow. For the wet slush it worked harder, but got a 3 car driveway done on 1st battery. Then, moved to the neighbor's driveway on the 2nd battery. Recommend the spare battery due to heavy slush underneath. Lightweight, easy to start, and nice control to change the direction on the chute. Only thing I would improve on is automating the chute tilt bc it's hard to change that function wo killing the engine. I'm 5'5, 62, female. We also have a monster 30" gas powered, which I can't operate. This is such an improvement!

Rated 4 out of 5 by NickD from Works great, just not in wet snow I bought the 40v to go with my mower, string trimmer, and blower. This works great and I love not having to get gas or do the annual maintenance that gas requires. The caveat is that with a decent amount of wet snow its not powerful enough to throw it. I want to upgrade to the 60 or 80v to solve this. (From northern IL)

Rated 3 out of 5 by r8ix from Works well when battery stays in. A client gave this to me, along with a new battery and charger. It works well, when it works, but the battery keeps rattling loose, and I have to open up the cover, push the battery back down, and do another few feet, then lather, rinse, repeat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MR2841 from Great concept, needs more power Bought this to replace a Craftsman gas powered snowblower that was over 10 years old. Pro's : So much nicer than having to start a noisy engine and mess with oil and gas. Just insert the charged battery press the switch and you are ready to blow. Cons : this is my first green works product, and I didn't realize how this handles heavy wet snow. We had a 3.5 inch very wet snowfall and the 40v blower would stall repeatedly even with a full charge. It struggled to throw any cut more than a third of the blade width. Its ok for spots where one could do multiple light passes , but for example between two cars, it could not be pushed through about 4 inches of wet snow accumulations, and i had to revert to the old manual shovel. Thinking I should have got the 80v one to handle the typical Michigan snowstorm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by blitzer56 from Could be Much Better? I bought this about a month ago from greenworks.com w/ 60v, 4.0Ah battery. The machine has two major flaws. First it's too light. A little more weight would add to momentum through moderate Colorado "heavy" snow and drifts. Second, the handle/push bar is too short and doesn't adjust. I get a sore lower back because my arms are too short and my body is too tall. I would not recommend to people over 6-feet 1- or 2-inches tall who may have large volumes of snow to remove. Also the chute directional-control mechanism is weak and awkward. The control handle drops either right or left due to vibration and gravity (thereby changing the direction of the snow throw), it was constantly being hit by my knees (as I was pushing the tool through the snow) and required me too stoop over farther and much more often to correct the throw direction. However there are some positives about the machine: It has good power, throws snow well, is easy to handle over-all and the LED lights are a nice touch. The sad part is after I purchased this snow blower and used it, Lowe's started selling an E-go snow blower that has an adjustable handle/push bar, is heavier and looks very capable but the battery is not compatable w/ Greenworks tools of which I own 6 or 7.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cobyjack from Could make battery last longer I bought this blower 2 weeks ago. Nice little blower, better than shoveling. The only 2 negative things about it, is the battery lasted for 30 minutes and was dead after a full charge. That was in 2.5 inches of fluffy snow.. I wish they would of put a switch to turn the lights off and on. I would recommend this blower but buy a extra battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jerry V P from Great little device I was somewhat skeptical about the snow blower, but it works just fine. Two snows now, one 7 inches, the second 2. The first took two and a half batteries, the second just one. I have three batteries, so no problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from It could be better This snowblower was Okay. It didn't work so well in heavy wet snow. But it worked in light snow. We went through three batteries to get our small driveway done. Needed more power.
