Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good Power but Lousy Battery Life Bought this from Lowes on 11/24/17 to replace a gas powered leaf blower that died after 10 years of use. While this blower does a great job, the battery life is horrible. After charging it for the first time, the battery ran out of power after 10 minutes running it on cruise control. After the second charge, it ran for about 15 minutes. I ended up raking my front yard with a rake by hand quicker than I would have with this leaf blower. I would advise anybody buying this product to get a second battery. Unfortunately a second battery costs as much as the leaf blower, battery charger and battery combined. I plan on returning this product to Lowes and purchasing a gas powered unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing power and extremely quiet (for a blower) I bought this as a bare tool, since I have batteries from my other Greenworks tools. I was replacing my 40V Greenworks blower, which was pretty good for a lightweight, battery powered blower. This thing literally and figuratively blows that one away. I get quite a long run time with this blower (I haven't timed it, but I only charge the battery about once a month after many uses). What amazes me is that I can use it to blow the rocks out of my grass where my desert landscaping joins my lawn. It blows rocks out of my yard! I love the variable speed trigger, and the trigger lock is great for longer jobs as well. This is a great addition to my other Greenworks 60 Volt tools.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Reviewed after owning 15 months. I really wish people wound wait to write a review on a product like this. I own a 1/3 of an acre. Initially FROM DAY 1 the battery would last for 30 minutes not 45 as they claimed. The unit is powerful and moves leaves well, however, after 15 months charging the battery overnight I only get 10 minutes out of the unit. I paid $161 for something that basically lasted me a year. I have to go out early in the am. Spend an hour letting the battery cool down before it will even take a charge, charge it for an hour then go out again. I'm basically going out 4 times a day and doing the yard in sections. Very TIME CONSUMING. Not worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blower I had an old gas blower and wanted to switch over to electric to avoid the maintenance on several gas engines. I bough the most powerful corded blower I could find, which worked great but was inconvenient because of the cord. I bought this blower to replace the corded one, and it's nearly as powerful and way more convenient. I bought this one because of the CFM and MPH specs... and it doesn't disappoint. There's also a lot of variability in the speed with the trigger and turbo button which is nice for more delicate work, like avoiding blasting flowers and mulch out of a flower bed. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome battery powered blower! I've had this blower for over a year and it is one of my favorite tools! You absolutely can't beat the simplicity and convenience of use...charge the battery, pop it in, pull the trigger! I love the variable speed trigger, cruise control wheel, and turbo button! This gives me as much power as I need and also gives me control over how long the battery lasts. If I need POWER, it's definitely there when running on high or turbo but I have learned only to use that when I actually NEED it because it uses the battery quickly. Most times, running around mid-throttle is plenty for what I typically do around the house and gives me 30 minutes or more of actual blowing time. Highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very powerful!! I was given this blower as a gift. I already had a 40v cordless blower. This 60v blower is VERY powerful, a little heavier than my 40v because the battery is twice as big...but it's still very easy to use. It's not, however, quiet as listed. Lol. What I'm not happy about is the battery life. I fully charged the battery before the first use and then only used it to blow out my garage and driveway. This took only 10 minutes and then I checked the battery and it was down by 50% after such a short time. Other than the battery life, this is a powerful blower and works very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine This blower works great. It is easy to assemble and extremely easy to operate. In the past I have used a gas powered blower, and the power generated by this blower is very comparable. However like all battery machines, the lifespan of a single charge is quite short. To fix that problem, I purchased another battery so I am able to swap out the batteries to finish the job. The price is slightly more expensive than other gas blowers, but the extra value is worth the quality in my opinion. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 15 Min Battery life LONG charging times LOW CFM Bought this at lowe's for 190$ after tax much cheaper than this pages price. i'm disappointed in the reviews which have to be lying.. The blower is not good at all it's made below average in my opinion. The speed control is a stupid feature with a flimsy piece of plastic. Why would you need cruise control anyways if you set it too full speed ahead it would die in 10 mins how do I know? Because I ran it on full speed in burst to get some leaves out of my driveway and yard and it lasted 15 mins... and it charged for over 1 hour to get full battery. So it took me 3 hours of charging and 45 mins of blowing to not even complete the job I was so mad I returned it to lowe's the next day. I just ordered the new 80v with battery and charger on amazon for 180$ after tax MUCH CHEAPER than this websites "special" sale price. I am really disappointed though and i'm hoping this 80v can make me a loyal green works customer.

How long should the 60v battery stay charged for? It was advertised at 45 minutes. But my blower only goes half that or less. The product arrived in a damaged box, which had been re-taped. Did I get a used/defective blower? Battery switched?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, Your run time sounds average. While this product does have capabilities of running up to 45 minutes, this is essentially at a very low speed. When used at high speed, approximately 20 minutes in this blower is an average run time for the supplied 2.5Ah battery as this unit does draw quite a bit of power on high. The run time can be extended by using the product at a lower speed when higher speeds are not necessary. Blowers are considered a high power draw application. Additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all Greenworks 60V batteries. The higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be.

I used to own the 40V model# 24322 which is rated at 185 MPH, why the newer 60V line appear way under powered in comparison (ex, 130 MPH)?

Asked by: GreenCustomer
Hello there, Thank you for your question. While the 24322 blower has a higher airspeed rating, the 60V model 2412902 has a much higher air volume rating at 610 CFM.

I have purchased several Greenworks products and I was wondering if it is safe to keep my battery on the charger once it is completely charged.

Asked by: JanD
Hello JanD, When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.
