Cordless Brushless Tiller
After a good experience with Greenworks 80 volt Cordless Snow Thrower, I decided to add the tiller. Previously I tilled my yard garden by hand but not as often as I needed to do so.
My issue are tree roots from the street boulevard that come up from below ground creating a thick matt filling my raised beds and stealing the nutrients from the vegetables planted there. This tiller does the job well using its own weight and pulling it through the plots of thickly matted soil and roots using multiple passes as directed. I needed to stop and remove the roots wound around the tines every couple of passes, but that was not too difficult. The size and weight it perfect for the 6' x 8' raised beds that I plant in.

Good tiller, just what I needed.
I had another brand of tiller, but after the second use, it quit running. So I ordered the Greenworks tiller, since we have a Greenworks blower that is great. I am very satisfied with this tiller. As a senior citizen, I can't do repetitious heavy tasks. I use the tiller to break up the surface of the sod...rake it out, then use the tiller to cultivate the dirt. I find that this tiller is much easier to clean the debris out that gets stuck in the tines...saving time. Also, I did have a couple of gas powered tillers in the past and they were a constant problem...who wants to breathe gas exhaust anyway?

easy to use
I am a cripple--I can use this tool easily--start/stop is convenient It has plenty of power for the purpose it is intended the battery is long enough lasting for my needs--removal is easy--charging is simple--saves me a lot of hoeing time and is easier on my arms and hands than the hoe

Easy to use
I bought this a month ago and very pleased with my purchase. I had checked reviews on rototillers recommended for woman and this was in the top 3. I’d rate it higher because no mixing gas and no power cord. It’s light weight yet works great. The weeds in my garden were overgrown but this took care of them. I was concerned because some of the reviews mentioned the battery was hard to remove but it’s not. I have arthritis in my hands and have no difficulty removing the battery.

A Great Product
The 10" Cultivator was a surprise to me in quality and power, even with all four tines running. Easy to assemble. I was able to use it on and off for the first day to till 8' x 6' patch, and it did not drain the 80v battery. It is heavier than I thought, giving it good digging, but still a little light where it bounces when it hits firm roots and is easy to carry. I prefer its power over speed, which keeps the dirt in the cultivating area. This was a great replacement for an old gas powered cultivator that tired me out trying to keep it running. Two speeds might be nice, to be able to blend soils quickly. My only concern with battery power is the change in battery shapes and voltages. Many battery tool companies have abandoned old battery shapes. A tool like this could last me twenty years, will I still be able to get the batteries? Only time will tell. With battery devices like this the average home owner won't miss messy smelly backbreaking gas tools. Thanks!

Great tiller
Bought this tiller as it was the same price to rent a tiller from a big box stores for a week. Wanted to prep my yard which was covered in weeds but needed to work at my own pace based on availability. This thing works great and tears through my yard. I am based in Colorado so the soil is hard and dry but this tiller does not discriminate and works like a charm. The unit lasts for about 40 minutes with 35 minutes needed to charge from empty. Have run over multiple buried treasures i.e., rocks, old tree roots and buried planter pots with no problem.

Good Light-Duty Machine
I bought this tiller to soften-up the sand on a beach volley ball court. The sand gets too hard to play on after hard rains. The tiller does a great job, no issues. The battery lasts long enough to do half the court, plus a few minutes on the other side. I already had a battery because I have blower, otherwise I didn’t think it would be worth to spend over $350. So, at about $200, I’m very happy with the whole deal.

Very rapid charging
I purchased this May 2020 to prepare a large wildflower bed. It was able to manage some very heavy clay (slowly) and I needed to recharge half way through. The very rapid recharge wasn't much longer than the break I needed. Subsequent runs to incorporate sand and peat moss went quicker and didn't need to recharge. I wouldn't try to break up sod with this, but it is a nice light cultivator.
