Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's decent It was easy to assemble, easy to move around and it's very light weight. It's light weight because there's a lot of plastic. Even the tires are plastic, kind of like the fake tires you'd see on a outside kid's toy. It was easy to figure out so that was a plus for me.The lights are super bright and work good. When I tried to use it for the first time it felt like it was getting clogged blowing a wet snow so I waited awhile and then tried... didn't have an issue. In all, I would say it's a good snow blower. It does what it's supposed to do. I would recommend this to someone who was just looking to snow blow around their home and not a lot of larger areas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING machine We just our first REALLY heavy snow and I wasn’t sure if the batteries would last long enough to do my entire driveway (1/2 mile) and my front walk boy was I wrong!!! With just 1 battery I was able to do my entire driveway and front walk as well as my neighbors on both sides. It never once lagged or slowed down in the slightest. The lights are bright enough to be able to see everything around me but not so bright that they are a nuisance. The adjustable shoot was amazing! It allows me to get the snow into the yard and not the street no matter which way I’m going.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! To say I was intimidated at using the Greenworks Snow Thrower was an understatement! I started at this giant box for an hour debating if I should us it or not. We live in Colorado and have had a pretty nasty fall and it is predicted that our winter is going to be even worse. We had about 8 inches outside, so i caved it and figured I would try it out now rather than regretting I didn't. I pulled it out, read the manual, and my hubby and I set out on the adventure. I was pleasantly surprised! It was very easy to use and maneuver, and did an incredible job! I did take us quite a while the first go round, but by the next use, we were pros. It was so quick and easy and has become a lifesaver for our household!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for up to medium tall to reasonably tall people :) Very easy setup and only few components to install. Operations wise: the handle that operates the direction of the chute goes right up against your legs, so you have to bend over a bit and push the blower ahead of you so you don't run into the handle. It would be helpful if the handle bar can be made to be extended or have another part that can be installed. I'm 6'-5" and the bars could use an extra four to six inches to reach comfortably. Otherwise, the blower works great. Just did the driveway which is roughly 175' from the street to the garage and got about 3/4 done on a 5Ah and a 6Ah battery on roughly 12" of fresh snow. It'll stall when pushing too hard into the 12". Best to do two passes. Took one more fully charged battery to finish it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall pretty good snowblower Overall I am pleased with this snowblower. I only tested it in about 2 inches of snow, however it was wet and heavy. I used cooking spray on the chute to avoid clogs. It did clog one time completely, but any snow blower would clog in wet heavy snow. Didn’t even use half of the battery capacity to do my small driveway approximately the size of four cars, small front deck, larger back deck, and back patio. I was disappointed by how much the plastic scraper wore down after only one use. I realize it is replaceable, but I would like to something more reliable in its place.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good As You Can Expect Bought the machine yesterday and put it to use today. The snow was wet so the machine struggled but if you give it a little at a time it does get the job done. I liked the light weight aspect which makes maneuvering very easy. I also liked how it scrapes right to the ground does a much better job than gas powered mowers usually do in that sense. Did the driveway and the walkway on one charge with about half the battery power still remaining. I also like that there is a lot less maintenance to do than with gas powered blowers and it's eco-friendly which is also a plus. Overall it's pretty much what I was expecting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to maneuver Greenworks Pro 60 Volt 20" Snow Thrower was a breeze to assemble with no tools needed. I had never owned or used a battery operated snow thrower before and didn't know what to expect. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with how well it cleared my sidewalk and driveway completely of 3 inches of recent snowfall which took about 45 minutes to do so and there was still battery life left. The snow thrower is fairly lightweight and easy to maneuver, the discharge chute rotates 180 degrees and blows the snow in whatever direction you rotate it to and throws it quite a distance. A plus is the 2 led headlights located on the frame bar, great when removing snow in low light or dark conditions. The snow thrower is easy to operate I simply install a fully charged battery into the battery compartment, push the green safety switch button, engage the bail lever and its ready to start removing snow. The battery and charger are included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and does the job! We got this about a month ago and were so excited to try it out. We have a cemented driveways it is about 12ft by 30ft and it got it all cleaned up. I liked the fact I could change the direction of where the snow would shoot and also how far by using the easy to use handle. It was super easy to put together and is light weight for a snowblower. I will definitely be adding other products from Greenworks!

Can you use an 80V battery with the 60V snowblower? I already have 2 80 V batteries for my chainsaw and weedwacker

Asked by: TerriL126
Hello TerriL126, No, each voltage line 80v and 60v has its own set of interchangeable tools and batteries. They are not interchangeable across different voltage lines.

My brand new snow blower won't turn on. When pressing the safety button and then pulling the bail lever, the lights come on, but the motor does not start making the tool useless. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

Will the battery operate in below zero weather? It says to store the battery at room temperature but once it is charged and I use it outside, what temperature can it operate at. I live in Minnesota and it is cold.

Asked by: Mandy
Hello Mandy, Yes, the unit can be used in below zero weather. However, if the ambient temperature inside the battery falls below -17c (1.4F) then it would need to be brought back inside to warm. If you are taking a charged battery straight out of the house, into the snow thrower and clearing the snow within 45-60 minutes (run time is roughly this on a 4.0Ah) then the ambient temperature inside the battery should remain inside the optimal range : 1.4 ˚F (-17 ˚C) ~ 113 ˚F (45 ˚C).

My driveway is paving stones, so it's uneven in spots. Will the blades be able to handle this without damaging the blades?

Asked by: banjojim
Hello - As long as the paving is relatively levelled and there are no loose gravel, stones or any loose surface material then it should be fine. If using on uneven ground, you may have to push down on the handle to raise the scraper at the base of the unit so that it hovers over the cracks in the paving stones. This would lead to some snow being left behind but will avoid damage to the unit.

Would this handle heavy/wet snow?

Asked by: Jack12345
Yes, however moving wet snow will require more battery power. When you get hit with wet snow, the secret is to take shorter strokes that do not force the impeller. Taking smaller passes about one-third to one-half the width of the machine, is faster than ploughing through a full path of heavy snow and is easier on the machine. Also adjusting the height of the snow stream by raising the chute deflector, allows the maximum amount of wet snow to be discharged. It is a better snow-blowing technique, and it allows the machine to throw the snow further.
