what are the lengths of the pole handle to trigger and what can it be adjusted to? im 5'2" and really could not use a tool that I had to hold up to my ear to use.

Asked by: danger
Hello danger, The length of this product is 65-in (165.1 cm). While this unit is not adjustable, it has been designed to be comfortable to use for people of many different heights. Hold the grass trimmer/edger by both the switch handle and the auxiliary handle for best control and balance. The trimmer should be help at your hip. Stand with the cutting head tipped down at an angle in front, guiding the grass trimmer/edger in a semicircular motion around you.

Is it possible to use a blade attachment instead of the trimmer head? If yes can you please tell me the part number for the blade, and if no can you please tell me if there is another model that accepts a blade?

Asked by: Furch
Hello - The use of a brush-cutting blade is not advised.

I purchased all the parts to replace the head for this trimmer but the base. Why can’t I purchase the base. If you can’t sell me one, can you offer an after market head that I can buy for this trimmer. I love this product but the head just didn’t hold up.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still going strong since July, 2017... We decided to get rid of our gas powered lawn tools in July, 2017... We did some research for the best battery powered tools, not the cheapest... We bought the 21inch self propelled lawn mower and this 16 inch dual line trimmer.... The lawn mower is really self-propelled, better than any gas powered one that I have tried... I have not had 1 problem with this trimmer.... It has as much power as my Stihl gas powered one that I sold... I have bought additional spools and bumper, but that was just to make it easy to change when the line ran out, $15.99.... Very worth it with free shipping... Great tools and a great company also....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from powerful trimmer that is not to noisy and is green I use this for my yard every couple of weeks. It works pretty well. There is a small delay in pulling the trigger but after a few weeks I you forget that the delay is even there. (I think there is a delay to make it last longer by not spinning up the motor too fast.) I like the adjustable speed, it seems pretty durable, its plenty powerful, and the battery lasts pretty well. It could be a little lighter for electric but I think it's a little lighter than my gas one. I also don't have to mess with mixing gas and buying gas, plugs, and air filters. The only thing I wished was that the head rotated so I could edge a little better but that is really minor for me. One more nice thing is it is quiet. I can use it at 8 am on the weekend and don't have to worry about all the noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beast of a trimmer 100% impressed... never would go with a gas trimmer when this performs so well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wacker Quiet, works great, shield is cracked after 3 uses but I'll probably plate it. Battery life is great unlike the chainsaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing power, responsive, and quiet! Has as much power if not more than gas, plus it is more responsive and quiet! Even though this trimmer may get heavy for longer uses, the tool is pretty well balanced with a 2Ah battery so it isn't quite as awkward as some gas ones with all the weight at the back. There is a small delay from pulling the trigger to the motor spinning up to full speed, bit it is still more responsive and consistent than gas ones I've used. Overall I like the tool alot so far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real time saver I've been using this trimmer for 3 years. I bought it primarily to save the time and hassle of using 150' of extension cord to trim my parents property. Dragging the cord around and re-routing it several times, it took just over an hour to trim everything. With this 80v Greenworks trimmer the time was reduced to about 35 minutes and I get it done with a single charge on the 2AH battery. The power is more than sufficient. Besides the usual trimming, I also use it to knock back ivy vines and other tougher plants with no issue. It's well balanced and the bump feed works well. The only shortcoming I have found is that the shield/deflector should be about twice as wide as it is(based on experience with others). My legs get covered with the clippings. So no shorts when trimming but otherwise it's been a pleasure to use and a great timesaver.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems good so far! Just bought a house and I don't want to deal with gas yard equipment and all the struggles those bring. Initial impressions on this tool are good. It is solidly built, pretty well balanced, and feels super powerful. Looking forward to putting it to work in the years to come. Also, Greenworks customer service is great. I had an issue with a tool in this same order, and they promptly offered a solution.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy at your own risk. Doesn't last. Ran for 10 minutes then the motor started smoking and burnt up. Not a very well built tool if it can't last longer than that. Called customer service and it said I was 159 in line. Left message and haven't heard from them since. Not a very good company to deal with.
