Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still going strong since July, 2017... We decided to get rid of our gas powered lawn tools in July, 2017... We did some research for the best battery powered tools, not the cheapest... We bought the 21inch self propelled lawn mower and this 16 inch dual line trimmer.... The lawn mower is really self-propelled, better than any gas powered one that I have tried... I have not had 1 problem with this trimmer.... It has as much power as my Stihl gas powered one that I sold... I have bought additional spools and bumper, but that was just to make it easy to change when the line ran out, $15.99.... Very worth it with free shipping... Great tools and a great company also....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from powerful trimmer that is not to noisy and is green I use this for my yard every couple of weeks. It works pretty well. There is a small delay in pulling the trigger but after a few weeks I you forget that the delay is even there. (I think there is a delay to make it last longer by not spinning up the motor too fast.) I like the adjustable speed, it seems pretty durable, its plenty powerful, and the battery lasts pretty well. It could be a little lighter for electric but I think it's a little lighter than my gas one. I also don't have to mess with mixing gas and buying gas, plugs, and air filters. The only thing I wished was that the head rotated so I could edge a little better but that is really minor for me. One more nice thing is it is quiet. I can use it at 8 am on the weekend and don't have to worry about all the noise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wacker Quiet, works great, shield is cracked after 3 uses but I'll probably plate it. Battery life is great unlike the chainsaw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real time saver I've been using this trimmer for 3 years. I bought it primarily to save the time and hassle of using 150' of extension cord to trim my parents property. Dragging the cord around and re-routing it several times, it took just over an hour to trim everything. With this 80v Greenworks trimmer the time was reduced to about 35 minutes and I get it done with a single charge on the 2AH battery. The power is more than sufficient. Besides the usual trimming, I also use it to knock back ivy vines and other tougher plants with no issue. It's well balanced and the bump feed works well. The only shortcoming I have found is that the shield/deflector should be about twice as wide as it is(based on experience with others). My legs get covered with the clippings. So no shorts when trimming but otherwise it's been a pleasure to use and a great timesaver.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good trimmer The tool is very easy to use, lighter than a gas trimmer, and as powerful. Unfortunately the 2Ah battery last only 25 minutes... Which makes it a nice tool but not perfect. Can’t wait for the 5Ah battery.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy at your own risk. Doesn't last. Ran for 10 minutes then the motor started smoking and burnt up. Not a very well built tool if it can't last longer than that. Called customer service and it said I was 159 in line. Left message and haven't heard from them since. Not a very good company to deal with.

other sites say model st80l210 trimmer is attachment capable. pictures of st8... also show the shaft is 2 pcs. so why if 2 pcs can't it take attachments ?

Asked by: bozo
Hello there, Model ST80L210 is not attachment capable. If a listing is showing this unit is attachment capable that would be incorrect information. Please feel welcome to send us an email of those sites and we will try to reach out to have it corrected. The unit does come in two parts. However, this is a front mount string trimmer which means the motor is on the head and not the handle. Therefore if removed it will not be operational with an attachments. While the ones that can take attachments are top mount units and have the motors located on the handle area. We apologize for the confusion.
