A convenient app allows homeowners to manage the PowerHub from anywhere in real time. They can monitor consumption, backup power, charge/discharge levels, and more, from a PC or smartphone. In addition, they can set preferences to optimize for energy independence, outage protection or savings, and get instant alerts.
The flexible modular design is stackable and expandable for a home’s growing energy needs. The easy-to-install, compact system doesn’t require a lot of floor space; it can fit on a garage wall and leave enough space for a car.
Many homeowners aren’t aware that when the power goes down from the utility company, it is mandated to shut down a home’s solar panels. This is necessary to keep from back-feeding power to the grid, which could be life threatening to the utility line workers.
